Also further notes down here :: The name itself is inspired by vlad the impaler but he was def like, not the only thing or even the main thing to inspire this term. My actual inspiration came from the SL-1 nuclear disaster (more graphic ahead but if ur this far ur probs fine lol) where in the explosion one of the bodies was impaled on a rod and stuck to the ceiling. The bodily damage was so severe apparently that the people tasked with locating and removing the bodies passed it several times because they thought it was just a bunch of rags. That's been turning in my brain for months so it became this lol
