I’ve been posting mostly fanart since 2024 started, so here’s my first set of headcannons for 2024.
Content Warnings: Food/Drink mention (specifically coffee and tea). Let me know if I missed anything in the comments and I’ll update this.
Ship: Rosleepceit/Rodesleep (Roman x Remy x Janus)
- Janus is a morning person, so he is the first one awake every day out of the three. Because he’s the first one awake, Janus always prepared coffee for Remy, and tea for Roman.
- Remy lets Janus wear his jacket a lot since Janus gets cold easily, and also because Remy thinks Janus looks adorable in the jacket. The jacket is a bit big on Janus because he’s shorter than Remy.
- The three of them have karaoke nights every Friday. Roman always picks Disney or musical theater songs, and will have his boyfriends join him for duets.
- Roman created a cafe in the imagination so Remy can get coffee from there whenever he pleases.
- Before they started dating, Roman liked to wear Janus’ hat and Remy’s sunglasses when they weren’t around. The creative side found the items very stylish but knew Janus and Remy didn’t like parting with the items. But when the three men started dating and Roman revealed he’d been borrowing their hat and sunglasses, Janus and Remy weren’t too upset and told Roman that he could wear their accessories sometimes. Janus and Remy agreed because they thought their boyfriend would look adorable in their hat and sunglasses. The two men were also flattered that Roman thought their chosen accessories were stylish.
- After they have been dating for a few months, Roman gets matching pajamas for himself and his boyfriends.

Summary: The journey of Roman learning to fight including Summer growing an interest in fashion and his husbands trying not to let him fight.
I have reread some of our posts and may have shifted how Summer gets his name, oops, but it fit the story and his interests
/\/\
As much as Roman dreamt of being the hero and saving someone, this hadn't been something he'd taken the time to learn. The most he had ever needed to know about fighting was how to escape Remus when his twin got into a wrestling mood.
Then he'd wanted to learn when Remy finally shared some of the things that were happening around his brother's marriage. It seemed sensible, and a way that his boyfriends might actually tell him more information over what was going on. Besides, if he could convince Janus to teach him how to fight there must be plenty of touching involved.
Roman hadn't seen any flaws to his logic, but Janus had refused, smiling in their teasing way while stating there would never be a need for Roman to fight anybody. They'd protect him and everything would be under their control soon enough.
The words didn't seem entirely realistic given the little he'd known at that point was pretty dangerous for even one wrong move to be made.
It was simply annoying that Remy also agreed with Janus but he did still teach Roman some fighting techniques. Mostly though Remy's method of teaching him to fight focused on weapons, specifically being able to shoot at people trying to attack him, or at worst stab them.
Roman did get given a relatively decorated knife before Remy stopped training him though.
“Such violence, Roman. I still don't believe there was a cause for you to learn these skills. Perhaps you intend to include stage fights within the plays you're writing?” Janus observed when they saw his knife. “Would you prefer to assist instead in our schemes?”
That was the offer that caught Roman's attention. The most he'd learnt since being pulled into the entire thing was that his brother, Janus and Virgil were in danger of the mafia attacking them, and that Remy was as well, but intentionally so having infiltrated the mafia in order to spy on them. “I thought that for my protection, you weren't telling me anything.” He countered still, sheathing the knife.
Janus nodded a little at that. “Well it is safer for you to know less until we are able to remove the threat from the mafia, but the androids we've been speaking with still need help that doesn't include you being shown everything that's occurring, darling.”
“How so? Is Remus not confusing them to sentience well enough?” Roman blinked, sure that he'd heard something regarding that get mentioned.
“Gaining sentience doesn't necessarily mean they know who they are. The androids that Virgil or Remus have been speaking to are essentially reacting to the traumas or still trying to carry on with their previous roles since they don't quite know how to figure out their identity beyond doing things and learning what they hate or enjoy.” Janus mused, describing the situation as a curiosity but Roman could see some concern beneath the words. “As an actor and writer, I thought perhaps you could try helping one or two of them to figure out what they might like. Or maybe just introduce them into some different names as every android who's now sentient is against using the mafia names they were assigned.”
Roman frowned, gesturing to himself for a moment. “You want me to teach the androids acting?”
“Not as such. Really I just want you to spend time with a few of them. We're all going to do so if the androids wish to do so. But one that Virgil managed to bring sentience to via programming has shown some interest in make-up. He's asking if there's anything more he can learn about it and I thought he'd be ideal to ask as a sort of bodyguard for you.” Janus explained, gesturing behind him for someone to come over.
At the description of what the android had liked so far, Roman was already accepting the ploy to give him a bodyguard. He'd have someone to do makeovers with, and possibly even help with costuming if that took his interest. “Well I'm always willing to demonstrate make-up and costuming. Do you have a name in mind already, or shall we focus on your interests first?”
“Colour names possibly? He/him pronouns if you need to refer to me, but I'd prefer to focus on make-up or fashion. That was what Janus said you and he bonded over.” He stated.
“Shopping trip then.” Roman grinned. “Come with us, Janus. Let's get coffee on the way.”
“Of course, Darling. Let's go.”

Summer ended up deciding his name based on the mentions of dressing for the season or people being suited to summer colours that he found in the fashion magazines he'd read with Roman. He'd been the one to return to the other sentient androids with the suggestion that they theme their names together also. He'd thought it would be a fashionable way to build a family as well as help the others struggling to figure out their names.
He also loved the discovery of stilettos, both the small knife and the shoe. It quickly became the shoe of choice for Summer and Roman if they weren't doing anything to strenuous, or for Summer even if they were. The idea of wearing weapons on his feet that could either be taken off to stab and whack or just kicked in to do more pointed damage was to his mind the greatest invention ever.
Roman also liked the idea when that was pointed out, but found his balance wasn't the best to try fighting in stilettos. Instead he spent hours with Summer learning the best ways they could harm assailants wielding the shoe in his hand.
Summer took that beginning and ran with it, figuring out the different ways fashion had concealed weapons in history, as well as the ways femininity could be either oppressive or attacking the status quo. He uncovered so many ways self defence could be built into dress, hand bags, shoes, and given Roman was his charge as a bodyguard, everything was shared and taught to him as well.
“Is there a specific way to punch someone which prevents most harm to yourself?” Roman muttered after one run through the latest way an accessory could be used as a weapon. “Other than stage punches where no contact should be made, I mean.”
“How do you not know that when you're one of the leaders of us all?” Summer had exclaimed, staring at him. “Put the accessories down, we are learning proper fighting techniques for hand to hand combat right now, Roman.”
Things hadn't been put away so fast since Roman's childhood as the space was cleared. “Do you mean sparring or just demonstrating techniques?” He checked but stood ready for either.
“Both. We'll start with demonstrations though. How about we schedule some time to teach you this everyday until you decide something else needs your attention?” Summer offered.
“Sounds good to me, so long as I'm not going to be breaking my hand hitting an android.” The concern wasn't a serious one. He knew Summer wouldn't intentionally let him get hurt, even if that meant moving back from his punches if he got a strong enough force behind them.

“Well well well, Babes. It seems I've been missing out on tons of fun and all our morning coffee breaks too.” Remy drawled from the doorway just as Roman managed the first throw Summer had decided he should learn.
“Hi Starlight. Do you need us?” Roman didn't pause in getting up to kiss Remy hello.
Remy looked him over, glancing at Summer for a fraction of a second too. “Not at all, though I have been bereft of the time you'd usually spend with me recently. I thought I'd come learn what's been consuming your mornings.”
“I did say I wanted to learn how to fight.” Roman nodded, gesturing over to Summer. “And he got insulted when I questioned the best way to punch someone. We're going to practise sword-fighting some more after I'm able to hold my own in hand-to-hand fighting.”
“Janus won't know what to do with himself. Actually, neither will I. You're too hot to touch already and that was before I saw you throw Summer.” Remy half admitted, half teased.
Roman just smiled. “Well when my husbands have taken over a mafia, I need to be prepared to fight.” He agreed. “If it helps me put you where I want you, all the better.”
With those words he twisted them while going to his knees and ending up with Remy pinned to the floor. He knew it hadn't been fought at all but was still happy to have managed the move without falling or dropping Remy.
“I can't argue with this.”
“I'll leave you two to it then shall I?” Summer's voice was wry and got no reply as he left the room chuckling.
My gift for @lostcephalopods ! I saw the post about rosleepceit date nights in one of your aus, it was so cute i chose to draw it! Im super late QwQ but i hope the wait was worth it!
Remy peeked his head around the kitchen door, before walking into the room properly and placing his hands on his hips. He then grinned at his boyfriends, looking back and forth between them.
"What's going on? I hear tea."
Janus huffed. "There is no 'tea'," he said, making quotation marks with his fingers as he spoke. "Nothing happened. There is no drama."
"No drama!" Roman exclaimed. "You fiend, you stole my Crofters!"
"I did not steal anything! This is my home, too, and my kitchen. All of the food here is mine as well as yours. Therefore, I did not steal anything."
"Oh, you are such a lawyer."
"Aww, thank you."
"I did not mean it like a compliment, fiend!"
"You already used that nickname."
"Ooh, tea!" Remy grinned. "Fun. But come on, babes. Is jam really worth fighting over?"
Roman gasped, placing his hand over his heart in an overly exaggerated manner.
"Of course!"
Janus rolled his eyes, but his expression was unmistakably fond. The corners of his lips twitched upwards, and he took a step towards Roman, grabbing the sides of his jacket and tugging him closer to him.
This immediately changed the atmosphere from mildly annoyed to flirtatious.
"I'm sorry I stole your Crofters," Janus said in a voice that was simultaneously apologetic and flirty at once. "How can I make it up to you?"
Roman's face immediately began to redden significantly, and he opened and closed his mouth a few times.
Then, he huffed and looked away, though he made no attempt to get away from Janus.
"You cannot flirt with me everytime you want me to forgive you," Roman said.
"But it always works so well."
"Someday it shall stop working!"
"Will it, though?" Remy added with a matching grin.
He rested his chin on Roman's shoulder.
"I would only ever stop if you asked me to, my dear," Janus said. "But I doubt it shall ever stop working. Would you like a kiss?"
Roman continued to pout. "I am still mad at you."
"I'll take the kiss if you don't want it," Remy said.

“Is there a reason you’re blushing like that?” + “I told you not to fall in love with me.” with some rosleepceit? maybe with a side of being on different sides of the law and a face getting tilted up with a weapon? - loveceit
You had to keep your wits about you in the outer reaches of the galaxy. Most of the settlements were poorly governed and rarely enforced, which led to the rule of strength applying almost everywhere that was more than a few hops away from the Centre.
Roman was generally bad at caution, unfortunately for him. He took wild risks and hoped they paid off, and so far they always had. It had paid off when he’d first left his little isolated homestead to travel. It had paid off when he’d started working at Remy’s bar. It had paid off when sweet, snarky Remy had confessed he returned his feelings and had kissed him under the stars. It had paid off when he’d interrupted whatever was going down between Remy and the mysterious D.C., because it had luckily turned out the man wasn’t extorting Remy for money but was in fact checking up on him on a pass through the area.
It had paid off when he’d begged to go along with D.C. on his ship with Remy’s full blessing and dire threats, and it had paid off when they’d had the most wonderful, wild adventures, with what was statistically improbably low amounts of consequences.
It had paid off when they’d come back to Remy’s to restock and refuel, and when Roman had boldly declared his intention to take on the entire galaxy. Remy had been surprised but supportive, and D.C. had just laughed. Some look had passed between the two old friends but Roman didn’t think it mattered much when it was followed by such a soft, sweet one cast his way by his love.
But this final risk was a problem.
He had only gone and fallen for the captain too, hadn’t he?
“Is there a reason you’re blushing like that?” Remy asked, startling him from his thoughts as he watched D.C. teaching their little new recruit to use a blade. “It’s the same blush I recognise from when you look at me.”
“I was just thinking,” Roman sighed, unfolding his arms so he could throw an arm over Remy’s shoulders. “I’ve never once thought about the risks I’ve taken before. But suddenly there’s so much I could lose.”
“Whatever risk it is, I think you can handle it Ro,” Remy told him, pecking him on the cheek and disappearing off.
Roman would think about that conversation later on, when he was trying his hardest to understand why D.C. would be working for the Centre. He couldn’t, he wouldn’t do that! He knew the struggles they had, the things people went through because of the negligence of the law! How could he be part of that?!
“I trusted you! Remy trusted you!”
“Remy knew all along, Roman, and he didn’t take it personally. It’s just life!”
Roman flung himself away, trying to reach the button. It was so close, all he had to do was reach it… But D.C. got there first, stalking past as he crawled along and flicking the switch down. The craft shuddered and Roman dropped his forehead on the floor in defeat.
Something slid under his chin and tilted his face back up, D.C. and his infernal analogue sword. He crouched next to Roman and touched his cheek gently, looking far more sorrowful than Roman thought he deserved to. “I told you not to fall in love with me,” the traitor said. “I thought you might not, not with Remy at home waiting for u- for you.”
“You break his heart every time you leave, and you thought I wouldn’t figure it out?” Roman spat, trying to struggle up to his feet but stopping on his knees and trying not to sway too much. “He loved you.”
“Yes that was his mistake,” D.C. agreed quietly, barely audible over the sound of stalling engines and groaning metal. “But I thought you might be smart enough to avoid the same.”
“Don’t talk as though you don’t feel anything for him! For us. I know you, captain, I know you so damn well, and you’re just as full of love as either of us fools are!” Roman could feel the risk tumbling towards failure, preparing for the first time for it not to pay off.
But then, after another moment of utter stillness gazing at him, D.C. suddenly dropped the weapon and turned, punching the console again and turning the switch. The pulley stopped and reversed, and the groaning turned to a hum of activity as the trai- the capt- as D.C. leaned down and helped Roman up to his feet again. Their eyes met and Roman wondered if he was the luckiest man in the entire world, or if this feeling meant the coin had yet to fall to make the final decision. Whatever it was he would take it, as D.C. murmured apologies and pleas for leniency, and the craft finally got away.
Roman held him tight. Tomorrow they’d face those thrice-cursed consequences. Right now he could afford to celebrate the victory for what it was.
Rosleepceit is a bunch of theatre nerds reciting love poems to each other send tweet
they're definitely Drama Gays!!
Roman and Deceit are Theatre and Remy and Deceit are Gossip and Roman and Remy are Soap Operas
Roman was the first one to recite a love poem, then Dee got in on it because Aesthetic, and Remy was like "they're too pure?" and started reciting stuff just to see his boyfriends get flustered
except while Roman goes for classics (like Shakespeare), and Dee digs up more unknown poems, Remy mainly just paraphrases love confessions from cartoons/sitcoms/movies
Well now there’s a home that once was a hotel and is now called a mansion for 5 business owners, a hundred or so androids and whomever they’re helping get backon their feet from their employees/ local homeless.
Janus running the businesses vs Roman performing and writing stories constantly, who will overwork themselves first, and how will Remy get them both to take a break?
They took over and basically reformed a mafia for Chicago, next stop dragging reform and workers rights to the exploitative companies and the billionaires who run them. The androids get good at convincing workers to organise when a few try working outside of the companies our crew run.
Marriages currently stand at Remus& Janus, Janus&Virgil, Janus&Roman, Janus&Remy, Virgil&Remus, Virgil&Remy, and Remy&Roman. The government decided to look away from it instead of trying to force them to clear up the multiple marriages. There was just too much paperwork to sort out otherwise.
If/ When they get press attention that mentions the marriage mix-ups there’s tons of speculation over who’s dating who, Remus/Virgil is pretty certain but no press outlet wants to include polyamory without something cemented so whichever you read it could be Roman/Remy or Roman/ Janus that gets reported.
The Agency Remy works for is very frustrated to realise Remy and the husband crew are now antagonising and basically presenting as an alternative to the expoitation of other companies. Maybe they had covert ops trying to get those companies done for workers rights incidents or tax evasion or something.
Roman swapping roles is awesome, but can you imagine Remus’s reaction to seeing Roman acts like him, the list of backhanded compliments and minor criticisms would be a mile long just to antagonise Roman.
