• Eugene’s autumn date is straight out of a painting — he’s incredibly intentional with everything.

• He takes you to a quiet riverside where the trees form a golden canopy, and brings a picnic he prepared himself (he’ll say it’s nothing, but every detail is perfect).

• He reads you poetry — either your favorite or something in English that he’ll translate softly at your request.

• While reading poetry, he pauses mid-sentence, gaze dropping to your lips.

“Tell me to keep reading… or tell me to kiss you. Either way, I’ll obey.”

• When a breeze hits, he instinctively wraps his coat around your shoulders, then stays close “to make sure it doesn’t slip.”

• As he wraps his coat around you, his breath brushes your cheek.

“You look better in my clothes than I do… it’s distracting.”

• He loves taking photos of you among the falling leaves, but he’ll pretend it’s just to “document the season.”

• As the sun sets, he walks with you arm-in-arm, and if you stop to admire the scenery, he watches you instead.

• When you stumble on a fallen leaf, he catches your waist and whispers.

“Careful. I almost lost my composure watching you fall into me like that.”

• Before the night ends, he kisses the back of your hand — slow, warm — and promises to bring you here again next year.
