R0BiT.1 is FINALLY finished just in time for Halloween!!
It took quite literally an entire month from start to finish, but I’m very pleased to have finally built another robot! Main materials include 2 and 4mm EVA foam, UV-cured nail resin (about 4 full bottles), black spray paint, and graphite powder.
Original concept art
Here is the development of the storybots. They originally look like this until Beep and Boops concept art are designed. It is dated way back in the early 2010s.
Rustmonger - Doom demon concept
A simple sketch for an original Doom demon I came up with known as the Rustmonger. Inspirations included Godzilla vs Kong's Mechagodzilla and Pacific Rim's Raiju.
Rustmongers - known to the UAC as Triceratoptrons - are anti-demonic war machines built by the ancient Martian race known as the Praeleanthor. They have a notably crocodilian/dinosaur-like appearance and stand 4 meters tall, around 12 meters from end to end.
Their primary feature is a composite drill apparatus over their head they use to drill through Mars' solid bedrock. This drilling mechanism can open into 3 jaw-like components to reveal the vulnerable sensor array beneath.
Besides their devastating claw and grinding teeth attacks, their primary weapon is a charged proton beam they fire from their mouths. They also possess shoulder-mounted cluster missile pods, and their tails can deliver wide swipes and piercing/drill strikes.
Their main defense is a powerful soul-based bodyshield that is almost impervious to all damage. This shield can only be broken by soul weaponry or powerful energy blasts such as from a BFG.
However, because the Rustmonger's body and not its shield is used to drill, the shield cannot block physical objects and is completely bypassed by melee attacks.

HK-INQUISITOR (TERMINATOR FAN-MADE CONCEPT, DAY SCENE PIC 1)
In this scene I tried to recreate not the Cameron`s future war visual style but more of a Salvation visual aesthetics since I find it to be more suitable for the day scenes of the gloomy post-apocalyptic future.
Some turnarounds of this cute boy.
For me as a Terminator fan boy it was always not enough to see the short scenes of the future depicted in the movies, I always wanted to see more. And having that urge I decided to expand the the machines model line with some fan made non-existing Skynet robots.
To celebrate the annual Terminator day (aka Judgment Day that occurred at 29 August 1997 ) I present you my first of the fan-made robot designs that I did to expand the Hunter-Killer model line and join Skynets robot army. Meet HK-Inqusitor, my design of the Skynets non existing middle size hunter killer robot.
Modeled in Blender, textured in Substance Painter and rendered in Blender Cycles. Everything from design to textures, final rendering and final post-production is done by me.
