I think Mel's flaws are just things women get praised for: people pleasing, customer service voice/demeanor, minimizing her own needs, and instantly capitulation to the person with the highest authority in the room.

you are onto something with the traits women get praised for thing but honestly i kinda think people pleasing is a weak flaw and theres never really a situation on the show where her flaws lead to a real problem or like a bad patient outcome. she struggles sometimes but in the end she always makes the right choice. shes sure to step away and take time to herself when she really needs it, however timidly she raises concerns w her supervisors, she seems to be the perfect sister, she never makes any real mistakes.

theres a post i saw somewhere or another about how mel sometimes falls into a trap a lot of autistic characters fall into where they get infantilized and portrayed as these perfect angels that can do no wrong and i do think thats a bit true with her. her flaws are all tiny palatable easy to swallow flaws that are easy to miss.

Lessons (Michael Robinavich x Melissa King)

Mel asks Robby to teach her how to have sex so she will be able to please a newly-single Langdon. Things do not go as planned. And sometimes, that is for the best.

Break (Michael Robinavich x Everyone)

Robby is obviously extremely pent up. He’s got chronic compassion fatigue. Everyone keeps telling him he needs to take a break, but no one ever tells him when he’s going to get one. So he does what he can when he can. Or: Robby has sex with (almost) everyone on his team.
