And then my sister in law faked sick after I decided to stay home for an FMLA day because ☺🙃☺. Im so fucking tired of her doing that, and I yelled at her. And when she said that she didnt want this to affect our relationship I told her that this was the fourth time shes left me when I needed her, and our relationship soured after the second time. And then I told her to leave. WelI ok I miiiiight have told her, “now get the fuck out”. But in a calm tone! I wasnt yelling by that time. I had already calmed myself down, but telling her to leave was the right thing at that moment. For me. Whatever. Im used to it now. Over time, and through this therapy, Ive learned to deal with abandonment much better. That doesnt mean that I respond to it well sometimes in the moment, but I can calm myself down now and I remind myself that Ive survived much worse and theyre not the first and they wont be the last and I can tough this out. And Ill tough it out today too, for the boys. Otherwise Id be in bed sleeping, where I sctually belong right now, and my sister in law would be here doing her fucking job.

On top of all of this, taking care of two wild little boys for the day is going to be fucking rough. Theyre loud, they fight over toys all the time, and theres cooking and juices and naps and dinner involved. You guys know the drill. And you know how much it sucks when you have to do it sick. Its one thing when theyre little babies. Toddlers and kids are a completely different ball game.
