He’s always been insatiable—in hockey, in life, in sex, it’s never been enough, and it only worsens in times like these. He hates the feeling of want that won't go away, the aching emptiness he feels between his legs and deep in his gut, like there's something missing from him but he can't remember when it got scooped out. He hates feeling like a stranger in his own skin, trapped behind glass like a zoo animal as the primal part of his brain takes over and forces him to watch himself take, and take, and take, until there's no space left inside of him to offer up. He hates it all, so he takes his high-dosage suppressant and deals with the side effects—dull sense of smell, low libido, exhaustion, acne, all of it—just so he won't have to deal with this.
