🏔️- what is your favorite on ice moment? off ice moment?

on ice moment DEFINITELY gabe's return last year. yes i cried when he scored his first ahl goal back. truly like his return brought balance and stability to the team and i think is a big part of their success since

off ice moment in some ways is a tie between every social media/midgame q&a BUT i think the one that takes the cake is when they had nate and gabe ask each other questions. you can tell that they really genuinely love each other and nate is able to be a little more relaxed and goofy around gabe which is such a delight. and that is the clip that brought us nate saying he would smell like peaches and cream if he were a scented candle.

🩶- if you could have any player traded to the avs, who would it be and why?

my instinctive answer to this is BRING BACK JONATHAN DROUIN!!!! joe sakic you know what you need to do.... but this wouldn't even be a trade because he's not signed :( lowk to me the avs are such a complete team it's hard to think of what player they like NEED although based on their moves so far this offseason they feel they need a better 3/4C and also while cale and toews are obviously amazing #mydpair they cannot always be on the ice so i think another good defensive defenseman would be nice. who would that be who they realistically have the money to pay? well. maybe they could try and revitalize the career of someone like marcus pettersson who i feel like was a decent defensive dman when he was on the pens and obviously being on the canucks has been a challenging time for all involved. TIL he is now on the rangers and has 5AAV which might be a little high for the avs but maybe the rangers can retain or something lol

(disclaimer that i hate change) my lukewarm take is that i don't like how they handled the mikko situation and i do blame the fo for it. reasons for this have been discussed by me and everyone else at length but like. i do feel that it was deserved karma when he crushed them in the playoffs.

also not even a hot take i just want to say that marty's fiancée nykki is my favorite nhl partner to follow i love her ig presence and her crafting journey
