⏪ #2018Memories #Rewind2018 #Latergram . ⏪ Unposted photos/memories from 2018 ... . This was a particularly tough year, not just for Alberta but for many around the world. There seemed to be a constant barrage of terrible news - from depressing world politics to horrifying natural diasters - making this one of the most heartbreaking years in recent memory ... . On a personal note, this year contained quite a few challenges that ranged from losing my job ... plantar fasciitis in the summer and shingles just before Christmas 😥. However, going through my photos, I found quite a few from happy times and places that I loved this year ... . In the summer, I spent as much time as I could in the mountains (with my journal and books) soaking my aching feet in the mountain lakes. I loved being surrounded by flowers particularly at the @calgaryzoo's butterfly conservatory and the #DorothyHarvieGardens. I also enjoyed exploring #calgarydowntown and I would often pick up (the best) almond croissants at @sidewalkcitizen. I also loved my early morning visit to @youraga and pretty much having the entire art gallery to myself. It was also incredibly exciting to meet #kimcambell at #ccwest2018 and @premierrachelnotley at @calgarypride. . ⏪ Overall, a pretty good year - one that I am grateful for. There have been so many beautiful memories in 2018.
