My current art plan is to draw a Lestat artwork, my first House/Wilson artwork and then draw Chapter 4 of Xanthe and the Starlight and that will hopefully take me up to Artfight beginning ❤️

it is so interesting to me that gabrielle is one of the regular members of the vampire council and that, i’m too lazy to go pull the quote, lestat explains the council in his internal narration as the people who want power.

Since lore wise in the vampire chronicles books you can reattach the body parts of other vampires to another vampire, I just had the cursed thought of it technically being possible to do a vampire bbl....it's just fat transfer right? so they could totally take fat from another vampire and inject it into a different vampires ass

I know some people dislike the changes they made to Gabrielle's character but ngl I'm not too too mad about it because in the books Gabrielle is sort of a mirror of Louis, as in they have really similar personalities/attitude towards Lestat. In the books Garbielle and Louis are both emotionally cold and distant, somewhat emotionally neglectful towards Lestat, never openly being affectionate to him and prefers to have Lestat roam free on his own and only comes to see him when he is hurt or distressed. Meanwhile in the show Louis is still emotionally withdrawn but he is way more lovey dovey and physically affectionate towards Lestat compared to the books. So in a way they had to make Gabrielle a mirror how show!Louis too which would translate into her being more affectionate towards Lestat as well. At least this is how I'm interpreting the changes in her personality, the changes in her gender presentation I have no idea why they're doing that.
