Hey Frankie! Hope your doing okay! How is it having Alex as a father? Is he nice to you? or do we need to beat him up?
I've been.... fine ish.. I ate today! :]
Dad was always great to me growing up, he tried his best even though we didn't have much.
He would literally hide left over Halloween candy till Easter so I would have something. Even if school was tough for him he put me first, but in public he and grandma always said I was dads baby sister.
I miss him alot though; haven't been able to track him down yet. Haven't seen or heard from him in years. :[
#4 and #12 for the hype questions?
4. What does your worldstate look like going into DAV?
I have several worldstates and no "true" canon, but I'm always happy to talk about them all! I'll answer you with the one I'm planning to play first, since I imagine that's what's most interesting to hear about.
My very first Warden was Solona Amell; she romanced Alistair and kept him a Warden with her. The Hawke that followed her, her cousin, was my purple rogue Daylen Hawke-Amell (he took up the family name when he got the Estate back) - Bethany became a Warden - and he dallied with Isabela before getting into a relationship with Anders. Unfortunately, he (and I) was totally blind sided by what Anders was up to and broke up with the mage but didn't kill him before siding with the mages against the Templars in the final confrontation.
Poor Daylen subsequently was left in the Fade by Inquisitor Tanith Trevelyan, a former Circle mage, who romanced Cullen and made Leliana Divine. Tanith vowed to redeem Solas after he saved her life by taking her hand in Trespasser. She disbanded the Inquisition and retired to Ferelden with Cullen where they help Templars leave lyrium addition and the Order behind. By 9:54 (beginning of DAV), they have 3 children, a son, Nathan, and twin girls, Haven & Hope.
My first Rook will be Tanith's younger brother, Alvaro, an ex-Templar who journeyed to Rivain to connect with their mother's roots after Trespasser and joined the Lords of Fortune. He's a sword-and-board warrior by training.
12. What's one thing you're hoping we DON'T see in this next game?
What an interesting question! I really hope they let Cullen rest finally (I suspect they will, what with everything that happened with Greg Ellis).
I'm a little worried about how they'll handle the elves, in general, particularly the Creators vs the modern elves, since the elves are rooted in Jewish, Romani, and indigenous inspiration (as stated by the devs since DAO) and the whole "Evanuris were actually slavers" schtick is, uh, easily fumble-able let's say, without making any sweeping assertions on whether or not it was fumbled in DAI and the tie-in media since. (I'm not interested in litigating such a complex issue in a short ask answer like this one.)

If you'd like to ask me a question as we get hype for Dragon Age: The Veilguard, here's the list!
mootie we are not thriving tight now. advice on how to drag myself to study for just two months like im crazy (after effects and side effects don't matter)
Download finch. I found it a year ago when I was at my wits end on how to find the energy to do the things I had to do. What is finch?
It's a to do list, a digital pet app, and a meditation app altogether. You start off with an egg, and each goal you meet you get a little energy to help your baby bird grow. Each day, after getting enough energy, they talk to you, and depending on your answer, they develop personality points.
Once they become an adult, they can travel around the world and develop personality traits specific to the place. Mine is travelling through france and he discovered he... really likes croissants.
If it's hard looking forward to the future (for me it sure is), this app has suggested goals that are really achievable. On my struggle days, I add goals from the category "just survive the day", which has things like "get out of bed", "stand up for 10 seconds". Which isn't a big deal to others, but you pet celebrates and gets energy from these all the same. Like you do get energy from these. Once you find the basic things manageable, you'll get much more confidence to do big, hard things. Even if you have to break these big bad things into baby steps.
Sometimes existing is enough.
If you feel like can't do anything anymore, rest. If you're starting to do some things but feel like you're stepping in needles from agony, take some time each day to do a thing you love, and ask yourself "how can I change the way I view this (moment in life) from agony to a better feeling?" <- not sure about what this last one implies, It's a recent practice suggested by my therapist himself that I'm learning to figure out. It still gets me very much confused
But that's a sign I'm growing to become someone I haven't been before. You can't have improvement without change. So it's ok to struggle and feel a bit lost during the transformation, we can try to understand it together.
For me, I found that "a change in perspective" often means noticing what I am paying attention to and changing my mind's course if I pay attention to whatever that makes me feel worse and that I can ignore with desirable consequences (ignoring thoughts about how a class sucks and focusing on doodling in my notebook, if I'm not paying attention anyways = fine. I feel better after being creative and it recharges my mind. Ignoring a patient that needs urgent treatment = not ok. I need to be responsible even if it makes me feel anxious. The funny thing is, after I manage to get through a crisis like this, I feel better about myself, because I witnessed how strong I can be and how good I am in holding my ground and standing up for myself. Sometimes, doing the things that you don't want to do but need to do are like missions that make you level up β think of them as each having the purpose of making you build yourself to become OP)
All in all, it'll be painful either you you study (the pain of learning) or you don't study (the pain of ignorance). Pain is inevitable, but it is temporary. What will you have left, once it passes?
Also, you can either get through meaningless pain, or inbue it with meaning, when you have a purpose. I think it's better to get through a pain that has a meaning and purpose. It's not that life gives you lessons β life gives you situations. You're the one who can grab it by the throat (like yjh) and say "I am going to find something to learn from this, and I won't ever let you hurt me this way again". Or something. I don't know. I am figuring this out myself. But these are the things that work for me in the long term.

Shield of Faith: Has your f/o ever protected you from something, be it something mental or actually shielding you physically? And Dancing Lights: Is your F/o a good dancer or do they trip over their own feet?Β for Amadeus!!
Thanks for the ask!
Shield of Faith: He's helped me deal with some of my more negative thoughts. He knows that I get into moods where I'm just sad and need to ride it out and he'll play me something sad to help. (I can't explain why it helps, it just does.) Other times he'll play something happy while I try to explain why I'm sad. He always asks which mood it is before he picks something to play. He knows music effects my mood at times. So in that way, yes.
Dancing Lights: I feel like when he still had feet he was a very good dancer. Nowadays he just kinda floats and it's not exactly the same.
You selfship with Merasmus from TF2 ? :0 that's really cool!!! I selfship with Heavy and Soldier from the same franchise! I'm glad there is more TF2 shippers out there!
That I do! I love the wizard and I feel like there needs to be more love for him both in-game and out. But Iβm very happy to meet another TF2 self-shipper! Maybe we can do a double date. XD
To Iulthyr: How does it feels like to live two identities? Seems like you can switch between light and dark elements when visiting the respective worlds.
I'd say it's more to living with two elements instead of two different identities. Same me, but different colors.
I prefer sticking to my Darkus element when traveling between worlds within Vestroia. Only in the Haos world where I revert to my Haos appearance.
That way I won't create suspicion among the Haos inhabitants who, according to Ambrosius, has a zero-tolerance mindset against Darkus Bakugans.
