"Just be yourself" is literally the worst piece of advice you could ever give me

We all wear masks as a survival mechanism. The mask becomes a problem when you cannot remove it. God made you unique. Seeing a headline for Biden winning, I think a Hallelujah chorus legitly sounded in my head as I breathed a huge sigh of relief.  (Biden has never exactly been my favorite politician, but the only thing he’s mentioned that I haven’t agreed with is everyone wearing masks.)  It’s beyond hard to get candidates in a political world for any amount of power, but I am glad that the US has shown that it can stand up for itself when it knows it’s been mistreated, judged, and manipulated.

I hope that in the future the year of 2020 will be referred to as the COVID Propaganda Panic.  The president taking a small event and making people think it’s the biggest crisis since the US entered the nuclear age.  “Duck and Cover” has been replaced with “Face Covering Required”.  Black and white ads with bad acting have been replaced by news broadcasts every hour and talk show hosts sitting as much as ten feet apart from each other.  Bomb shelters have been (mostly) replaced with toilet paper fortresses inside our own houses.  People are afraid to make a single move until the media says it’s okay, but only if the one they follow says it.  Either way, no one wants to come with the terms that we have to come out some time.
