It so happened that I decided to redesign Meilin and Lan again... It happened spontaneously, although there were already thoughts about it, but only somewhere far away.

I removed the masks in Meilin and Lan's designs, yes, it was intentional precisely from the point of view of how for my convenience in subsequent art.

IT DOESN'T MEAN

THAT I WON'T FIND AN EXPLANATION FOR THIS:

The forces of Wukong and Ming Sheng (Macaque) are unstable when Konpu tried to unite them, which led to a marriage that was compensated by KONPU's DEMONIC BLOOD (!), and that's why these two are demons.

That is, the basis for the creation of these two:

The blood of their creator (Konpu) and the monkey form, as well as the energy of Sun Wukong and Ming Sheng, barely managed to fit into their bodies. They are like vessels with varying degrees of filling.

But it was this unequal distribution of energy in their bodies that actually gave them physical stamina for the inner strength that was harming them.

I also mentioned that Meilin became more sensitive to the cold, and Lan began to experience more often as if a real flame was burning inside him (I wrote about this in my telegram), after their spiritual connection weakened, because an energy exchange took place between them, which was interrupted.
