This would be a Easter Egg if your try to ask The Dater to transform into Victor Powered I imagine the game just inverts colors the character like your player character is not supposed to know the character exists so just changes the design a little if this was part of the Victor Powered au where you save him to play in all the levels with new dialogue.

Maybe have The Dater talk about Victor Powered being hidden similar to them to try to get in his head to mess with him maybe to get close to Victor Powered's chest to grab his stone to break it.
