I love the different ways that Heather Chandler say her infamous “fuck me gently with a chainsaw” line in the movie, versus the musical. They both have the same point, being an exclamation of something that Veronica said that she didn’t like, but the way she says it in the movie is more of her establishing herself as the mean girl, and she knows it. The way she says it in the musical is more for comedic relief in response to what Veronica says. It just shows how the same character and say the same iconic line in two different contexts in two different iterations.
