The horror theme park having multiple people go missing [including workers]

They get changed and altered so they can spread the rot and decay of earth. Mr. Monroe running the operation in secret, the one making him do it is unclear. The amount of workers and rides/games increasing each time. The theme park is the equivalent of a town at this point with how massive it is. Any disappearance is swept under the rug and not put on the news, or at least the missing isn't reported to have happened at the theme park. Still, even covering their tracks, rumors still spread about it.

Veronica gets the job pretty easily despite her past and getting payed way more than what a job normally like this would pay. She needs a job so she can keep her cheap apartment. After being jobless for awhile, and even homeless at one point, she doesn't question anything about the job. That is until she meets Doe, this guy who is uncharacteristically good at his horror role. To the point where it doesn't feel like acting. The stitching on his skin, blood on the suit that looks and smells real, and dead eyes are what set off alarm bells in Veronica's head that something isn't right with the guy. Especially with how persistent he is to be Veronica's friend.

Doe is tasked with "getting Veronica and her family on board with the theme park". Normally they would just change a new worker, but since Veronica's family is well off and holds a lot of influence in town, the plans change. More traction to the theme park means their goals get reached at a wider scale. Doe tries his best, but their social skills are well.. nothing good that is for sure, and Veronica's parents already disowned her a long while ago. Doe struggles a lot with this mission, but also doesn't want to be punished or "fixed" so they have to push through regardless.

They eventually become friends but there is a lot of bumps on the road before they get to that point.
