Ana Hickman e Adriane Galisteu se encontram na manhã de hoje para a coletiva de imprensa de divulgação de A Fazenda 14. Durante o “Hoje em Dia” serão divulgados os nomes de 6 dos 20 participantes do reality rural, além de ser explicada a dinâmica do jogo este ano. Globo: Probably the most "legit" one. They used to own the industry up until like the 2000s. Their content nowadays is very "woke" and "progressive", meanwhile most of their content is not actually inclusive, non-white and non-cishet characters are mere tokens and there are barely any neuroatypical characters (I can't name one off the top of my head). They host the country's biggest reality show: Big Brother Brasil, which is a shallow shitshow on its own, but the show has this country wrapped around its finger and knows it. Brazilian Twitter is filled with nothing but BBB for as long as it runs. Most brazilian celebrities' carreers are kickstarted from being on BBB, or other reality shows from the other networks.

Record: Built around a church. Literally. Edir Macedo built his empire around the faith of many, and spreads around his pseudo-morals on his talk shows for the weak (edgy Marilyn Manson lyric, I know, but it's true) and his horribly written novelas with the exact same story over and over. They created a brazilian version of Rebelde, with edgier, more traditionally western characters. There is a MOVIE about Edir Macedo's life, painting him as some sort of hero. Their news programs are filled with sensationalism, trauma p*rn and shallow celebrity talk. They have another "main" reality show: A Fazenda, which is... insane, and another carreer kick-starter. Oh, and inclusivity? Don't know her.

SBT: Built around an MLM. Literally. Silvio Santos is possibly the richest person in this country, and has had his place in brazilian television and economy for as long as most of us have been alive. His MLM, Jequiti, is a fairy tale which uses his television network to broadcast the wonders of being a part of it which include but are not limited to: selling the best cosmetics, including the perfumes of the stars, having a(n insanely slim) chance of participating in game shows, such as Roda-Roda Jequiti, which gives money and prizes to poor people that need it, and uses their reactions to advertise how great it is to join his MLM. He owns the national children's entertainment industry, which used to exist with other networks but died out due to laws on advertisements targeted towards children. Now he broadcasts all the cartoons and is the only one still making novelas targeted to children. His family of many many kids and wife all have a place in his empire, both on TV and Jequiti. His wife writes the children's novelas.

 Gênesis: literalmente o inicio

 Estreou ontem (19/01) a "nova superprodução" da RecordTV, Gênesis.  Novela baseada na Bíblia, no primeiro livro que dá nome a novel.  Com 7 fases, a trama narra a criação do universo, humanos, animais e toda a criação.  No elenco, são mais de 250 atores e nomes como Igor Rickli, Oscar Magrini, Adriana Garambone, Pérola Faria, Selma Egrei, Petrônio Gontijo, Daniela Escobar, entre outros.  Em seu primeiro episódio, a novela apresentou os personagens de Adão (Carlo Porto) e Eva (Juliana Boller): ele com uma atuação nada convincente, ela com uma atuação aceitável.  Vimos o início de tudo, desde a queda de Lucífer (Igor Rickli), passando pela criação dos mares, terras, frutos, animais e seres humanos, além da relação de Adão e Eva antes e após o pecado.

 Ponto negativo para a trilha sonora, por ser lenta e arrastada.  Outro ponto negativo vai para o "machismo" de Adão perante Eva, por conta do pecado do fruto.  Ponto positivo para os efeitos especiais, que se destacam extremamente pela qualidade e que estão bem feitos, com um capricho cinematográfico.  Mais um ponto positivo pela pontualidade, onde o horário das 21:00h foi cumprido.  A novela exerce um "Q" de pregação perante o Evangelho, não chega a ser uma crítica porém é exaustivo.  Ressalto as atuações, que deixaram a desejar.  Além disso, o estereótipo de pessoas brancas, com dentes perfeitos de lente, olhos claros e cabelos hidratados.

 O ritmo está interessante, rápido.  No capítulo seguinte, teremos Caim e Abel, noras de Adão e Eva e o andamento do capítulo de Gênesis.  Inicialmente, podemos esperar um entretenimento de qualidade.  É notável o esforço da RecordTV com a produção, além claro do interesse em exportá-la para outros países.

 Em audiência a RecordTV marcou 16,1 pontos em São Paulo, com pico de 18 pontos e garantindo a vice-liderança.  Na Rede Globo, o Jornal Nacional teve média de 27 pontos e A Força do Querer 30,2 pontos.  Vale lembrar que essa é a maior audiência de um primeiro capítulo de novela da RecordTV desde A Terra Prometida (2016), que teve em média 18 pontos.  Com direção de Edgard Miranda e autoria de Camilo Pellegrini, Raphaela Castro e Stephanie Ribeiro.
