whenever i see anything about five nights at freddies i only hear it in the ray sipe voice. that's all i know and associate with that thing

i think Hideki Naganuma and Ray Sipe are fairly comparable; middle-aged men who seem unfamiliar with social media, who got sucked into a weird validation feedback loop by their predominately teenage audience, which encouraged them to post bizzare combinations of buzzwords and pop culture references in a somewhat misguided attempt to connect to an audience that has become so lost in irony that even the most painful joke still attracts attention, repeating the validation cycle. the main distinction is that Sipe is pretty much exclusively known for his posts while Naganuma has produced some of the hardest songs ever put into a video game. i’m not sure how to feel about that
