#JackedKirby - Enter... RamJam the Gorilla Man!!!! 🦍🦍🦍 Kamandi has no shortage of anamorphic animals of all shapes and sizes... there are literally lions and tigers and bears, Oh My!!! But one of the coolest designs out of all the characters came to us in Chapter 3 of #Issue32 of Kamandi (published in August of 1975). Enter... RamJam the Gorilla Man!!! 🦍🦍🦍 RamJam is a high ranking commander in the Gorilla Man military, specifically the Naval force. Over the next few issues he proves to be a handful for Kamandi, Dr Canus and Ben Boxer... making their travel through the Gorilla Man territory as hard as possible! 🦍🦍🦍 I love this chapter opening splash page that introduces us to the character... the dark black turtleneck, the cigarette holder and the eye patch... classic Kirby! But I love his sailor Cap with the Skull and Crossbones over the Bat Wings. Amazing!!!
