@rabbit-bitxh sent: Frantic knocking rapped across Marks door, the attending holding his son close as he his body rattled with every hard cough that intrrupted his crying. Robby offered an almost desperate look to the attending as the door finally opened. "Help, please... I can't get him to stop coughing... he wont stop."
Mark's barely out the shower when he hears the rapid knocking at his apartment door, quickly throwing on a pair of sweatpants and oversized jumper as he practically scrambles to get to the front door, half tripping over his own big feet by the time he makes it and opens it up to see who's there.
"Robby?" He can't deny he's surprised, though his eyes drop to the infant in the resident's arms, and bemused confusion quickly switching into high gear, hurriedly gesturing for the man to come inside. "Living room. I'll get my stethoscope." The change from Mark to Dr. Greene is instant, he nods towards the main living room area and disappears into his room to grab his bag, bringing the whole thing with him.
"Right, let's see what we've got here..." He starts, steadily waving a hand for Robby to place John down onto the couch as he puts the bag down next to it and quickly places a blanket onto the sofa cushion for better comfort for John. "How long as he been coughing like this?" He asks first, quick but calm. "Did it start today?" He pauses just so start him off, not wanting to overwhelm Robby. He knows he's a good doctor, but right now he's not dealing with Dr. Robinavitch, he's dealing with a scared father who's worried about his son. It's vital to make that distinction. "Has he stopped breathing at all? Any discolouration around the lips? A fever? Changes in his feeding? Is he taking his bottle normally?"
