tip for all my transmascs/trans men:
Find a bunch of feminine baby names on a baby naming website. Print them out, and put them in a hat. Before a social gathering, pick a name out of the hat. That’s your deadname for that gathering. If some creepy chaser or bigot wants to know your deadname, say that name instead of your actual deadname. It’ll be so damn funny when some bigots gather together like: “Oh you know some transgender guy named Sophie?” “Nah, i know an Olivia, though.” “Well apparently their actual name is Maria”.
Imagine the chaos. You have a different name every day. Maybe then they’ll understand and use your real name (aka your chosen name) so they aren’t confused at every gathering they see you at.
I haven’t tried it yet, though I’m pretty certain you’ll be able to cause some havoc. ;)
