Random Queer Tip #1
Get a pronoun pin, even if you’re cis! It helps people show you support the community in a small way, and tells people your pronouns!

Trick for Dysphoria
So we have 2 different soaps in our house, one is lavender and one is spice or something. Mum got the lavender for the girls and the spice for the boys. It's kinda stupid and definitely unnecessary but my genderqueer ass takes advantage of it.
This could be a good trick for closeted genderqueer/genderfluid people such as me.
Luvs you all!

Attention genderfluid and genderqueer folk!!
Pronoun scrunchies
I have them as
Pink: she/her
Blue: he/him
Purple: they/them
I wear what pronouns I'm going by that day. My friends can just look at my wrists to know and if you don't want to be out to certain people, there's nothing suspicious about schrunchies or bracelets!

Might be the wrong place to ask, but I'm going abroad next semester and looking to get birth control. Will PP make sure I have bc for the entire time I'm abroad? Or be able to forward it to me internationally?
Great question and so excellent that you’re planning ahead.Â
Yes, you can indeed get several packs of birth control at one time (I am assuming pills or patches reading this, is that correct?). Often, Planned Parenthoods will give you an option of taking several months to a whole year’s worth of birth control when you get your prescription, if they are a center that dispenses medication. If you are filling a prescription at a pharmacy they will fill the prescription as written, so be sure to ask your provider to write the prescription for the actual number of packs/patches that you specifically need.
Depending on your insurance or financial situation this can be spendy. I recommend talking directly to the health center where you get your prescription filled and asking what your options are.
It can be useful to pack a copy of your prescription with you because sometimes border crossings can be tricky with several months worth of meds (this is kind of smart for any meds from birth control, transition related hormones, to SSRI’s, etc.)
Good luck and bon voyage!Â
Have a great semester.
