Most of our Gatekeepers are Persecutors, and two of our main hosts are Persecutors. They're massive sweethearts. Ours keep the roles after not being annoying and malicious because they know they're capable of putting the body in harms way if they wanted to.

Jimmy, who is one of our main hosts, is a Mouthwashing fictive. He tries to make us drink mouthwash if he's having breakdowns when reminded of his source's actions from source memories or people assuming he's just like source so he can try and stop the mental pain. He's not a bad person.

Persecutors aren't always these big, evil people. They're crucial to the system, albeit some of them DO want to hurt the body, other people, or other headmates because they see it as fun. Not every persecutor is able to be redeemed or a misguided protector.

Our Infection AU Sanji is a Persecutor/Caretaker, he only lashes out and gets malicious if spiraling mentally or triggered into an anxiety attack. It isn’t very mentally stable, but that's okay. They're very loved in our system and in our partner's system.

All of our persecutors are loved in both systems.

coming from faciem, facier is a general term for alters who are sort of like the "face" of the system rather than a host, someone more equal to the rest of the alters rather than someone who is leading and in an authority role like a host is usually associated with.

Faciem is Latin for face.

This is not exclusive to protectors and also includes gatekeepers. Though a CustoFacier does not have to be either nor have any other sort of role in the system.
