Als ik de school in kom lopen met een traytje met blikjes cola kan je wachten op het commentaar van de eindexamenleerlingen die in de aula chillen, wachtend op hun volgende les.
“Ah, lekker mevrouw. Is dat voor ons?”
Wat ze niet wisten, is dat het waar was! Want zo begon ik mijn laatste les van het schooljaar, de laatste les voor het examen, en voor sommige leerlingen hun laatste les op school.
“Wat?! Mogen we er echt eentje pakken?”
“Niet slim hè ons allemaal cola geven, al die suikers, dan worden we druk.”
“Lullig voor uw collega die mij na u heeft!”
Na al onze gesprekken over cola in de scheikundelessen van afgelopen maanden was het gewoon een goede afsluiting dus begon ik mijn les met: “Proost! Op jullie!”
Ps. Deze leerlingen hadden toestemming om hier geplaatst te worden:
J. (16 jaar): “Maar mevrouw, u heeft geen foto van de blikjes gemaakt voorop uw blog.”
Ik: “Oh nee!! Vergeten.”
J. (16 jaar): “Maak dan een foto van ons, het mag van mij.”
Ik: “Je bent zestien dus dan moet ik toestemming van je ouders hebben is de regel hier op school.”
J. appt zijn moeder voor toestemming en P. (18 jaar) sluit af met: “Ik ben 18, dus het mag van mij.”
J.: “Maar dan willen we wel de foto eerst zien!”
This was a commission I started last year for one of my patrons over on Patreon - the biggest commission I've ever done. In the end it was an 18" x 24" watercolour painting.
