stayed up the whole night studying for my precalculus finals later this afternoon while sipping coke zero 💗

The following math problem comes from a manga called Animal Signal. It's stupid and dumb but it has a lot of fun animal facts, thanks to the expert consultant Shinohara Kaori. However, Shinohara-sensei must not be very good at math, because we never see a solution to the problem.

Explain how to solve this problem.

august 27 | third day of school

now is when the work begins! today was the second day of half my classes (we work on an A/B schedule) and we started covering content. i’m really loving how my math teacher explains everything—plus, conceptually precalculus is like geometry (which i loved) as opposed to more like algebra 2, which i didn’t enjoy as much.

we also covered our first standard for ap euro (italian renaissance) and that was super interesting. history is like a story—that’s why i love it so much. when i learn the story, it gives me context for so many things. my notes are pictured above!

we went to the library during english and i picked up a copy of my sister’s keeper by jodi picoult!

this isn’t so much a study thing, but i’m currently writing a book, and i love when i get time to work on it. i’ll include some little book updates in my productivity log, but i post more about it on my main.

as for homework, i got math homework and still am working through the ap euro packet. i also have a “get to know me” assignment for english (prolly gonna be a long weekend project) and a news brief!
