My #wife makes this #Nigerian dish called #EgusiSoup. This was my first time to taste it. The brown pudding is called Amala. There were two types of egusi here, one with #spinach. It’s made from a melon seed and it is delicious! I’m not a fan of the amala but thankfully she prepares two other options: #fufu and #poundedyam. I’m hooked. I could eat this every day. いわし焼き、ほうれん草のおシたし、とろろ、麦飯。 近所のスーパーで売ってたいわし2尾で160円。但し、頭とハラはナシ。昨日のヤツか？ 麦飯食べてみたくて麦飯炊いた。麻原彰晃たちも毎食食べてた「バクシャリ」。米２合＋いつもの量の水、そしてその上に麦100g＋水200cc 30分浸水させてから炊飯器で普通に炊けた。 ふ〜ん？・・・・特にこれと言って・・・。噂では冷めると死ぬほど不味いらしいんで、冷や飯にしてみようかな？ 炊きたてだと普通に美味い。そういえば、花輪和一も「刑務所の中」の中で、「美味くて美味くてこればっかりはやめられない」とかなんとか描いてたなあ。なんで刑務所は麦飯なんだろね？ とろろは、ダシとか玉子とかナシ。長芋をすり鉢でおろしただけ。そのままぶっかけて濃口醤油をたっぷりかけて。あれこれするよりこの方が好きだね。 おいしかった。 扇風機の風がそよそよ気持ち良いし、しあわせ。 #麦とろ #麦飯 #押麦 #barley #rice #sardines #spinach #boiledveggies #grounded_yam #yam #tororo #totoro #poundedyam #japanesefood #kyodo #setagaya #tokyo #japan #dinner (世田谷区経堂)

昼酒。暑い。連休？ 最悪。「混んでたらやだなあ」と思いつつ、近所の「しらかめ」へ。 赤ん坊泣き叫んでるわ、「そば、いらない！」とぐずぐずとぐずる小学生甘えん坊系男子連れた中高年夫婦が昔話を朗読＝読み聞かせしてるわ、落ち着かないけど、「このくらいは連休経堂の受忍義務か」と耐えながらの昼酒。ハンドスピナー代わりに渋扇子をばたばたばたばたさせて気を落ち着かせる。 草野進「どうしたってプロ野球は面白い」読みながら、新政No.5 そして出汁巻とぬか漬け。〆はつけとろろ。 つけとろろ、いまいちだったな。きっと江戸っ子だったら赦さない気がした。「てやんでえっ！ 赤ん坊の鼻汁にひたしたそばがくえっかよ！ べれんめえっ！」。とろろなら、うどんの方がいいな。 ま、連休に外なんぞへ出掛けりゃ、こんなもんだわな。 #昼酒 #そば #新政 #no5 #japanesefood #soba #omelette #japaneseomelette #yam #poundedyam #buckwheat #noodles #sake #aramasa #lunch (お蕎麦の しらかめ)
