𝙂𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙙 🚂 I’m a massive fan of immersive experiences and I LOVE murder mysteries. @funicularproductions have merged the two together with The Murdér Express. I won’t give anything away about the murder mystery part, but what I will say is the cast are great, so funny, and they ensure the experience is a lot of fun. The food is created by @masterchefuk finalist @cheflouisaellis and it is VERY good. You start with an Amuse Bouche of a celeriac & truffle soup, and then quickly moves on to a starter of a beetroot tartare with apple, walnut, cultured cream & sorrel, and it is VERY nice. I didn’t think I could like beetroot so much but it had this beautiful creamy taste with the apple cutting through with a bit of sharpness. For the main course it’s a braised blade of beef with a potato tosti, braised lettuce and a red wine gravy. This was beautiful, I honestly wanted another plate straight after. The beef was rich and very tasty, and the red wine gravy only intensified that. For dessert you are served a buttermilk panna cotta with raspberry, puffed rice and sherbet, again very nice and that raspberry gives a sharpness to the creamy panna cotta. Vegan dishes are also available. Tickets are £60 and up to £67.50 for peak times, and to be honest with the quality of food near enough warrants that price anyway. It’s a fun couple of hours and I recommend you check it out if this floats your boat. . . . . . #immersiveexperience #immersiveart #immersive #masterchef #masterchefuk #murdermystery #murderexpress #braisedbeef #beef #immersivedining #londonfood #londonlife #londonist #londonguru #londoneats #londonrestaurants #londonrestaurant #londonfoodguide #londonfoodscene #londonfoodspots #londonfoodie #londonfoodblog #londonfoodblogger (at The Murder Express Pedley Street Station) https://www.instagram.com/p/CG7EydxrRGA/?igshid=1fotyla9uaqu0
