So I assumed this was a copypasta at first, probably something from transphobes to try and rile people up, and I was going to turn into a whole joke about “wait, amorous trans women? Do the amorous trans women have Gothic heroine energy? Are they single? Can you give them my number?“ etc.
But I went to check recent activity on some of my posts, just to see if something I had said was being wildly misinterpreted, and um. Guys, you need to go block a blog called “honoraryt*rfposts” (with an e in place of the *)right now if you don’t want them sharing your posts. They will take things with caveats against transphobia, even. And apparently, appearing on there can get taken at face value. This may still just be a stupid copypasta, but it’s made me aware of something we should all be taking steps to avoid our posts appearing on. So now you know.
And let me be very clear, now and in perpetuity: trans women are women. End of discussion. My mind cannot be changed on this. It is hard for me to think of anything that’s more affirming of one’s womanhood than to be a woman On Purpose. I am proud to call them my sisters
(however, if your posts have already appeared on that blog, don’t worry too much about it. the F stands for something far more universally accepted and positive, meaning there are likely to be things you say that some terfs agree with. Doesn’t make you one of them)
