When you see this, post a few lines from three WIPs
Just to be clear, the first one is a flashback, which is why itβs in italics
Choose the Second, a Keeper of the Lost Cities fanfiction
Fitz and Dex, my first friend and my best friend, cast sidelong glances at me as I rocked back and forth from one foot to another.
They both jerked to attention as I opened my mouth.
"Um, what about, we, um . . ."
"Let's wait until the Opening Ceremonies," I blurted.
Not because I didn't know who I wanted to pick - I love Fitz! - but I've been best friends with Dex since I was twelve.
I didn't want to destroy that.
It was only after they had both left and I had fled to my room that I realized Keefe wasn't there.
I don't know why that made me so disappointed.
Sisters, a Fablehaven fanfiction
As we pan out on the main house at Fablehaven, two women are seen walking through the woods, on their way to the old manor. Zooming in, it's now clear that one has dark brown hair and copper skin, with the other having lighter hair and skin.
The women passed by a side road. Through the trees, a small cottage peered at them.
This seemed to be the spark the conversation needed.
The blonde coughed, nudging her brunette counterpart.
Property of SmartCorp, a Jack Blank Adventures fanfiction
I FIDGETED WITH MY NEW BRACELET. The tiny button that Jack had told me to never press, never, the one that would connect our lines - and Allegra's - yes, I did tease him about giving jewelry to his girlfriend - and therefore expose our little operation, protruded so invitingly. It was just screaming Push me!
A gust of wind shaking the pink blossoms surrounding me shook me from my thoughts. A purple - apparently Jack knew what my favorite color was - Chinese dragon settled down beside me, shaking its head as it shuffled beside me, apparently impatient to be off.
I approached with caution - I wasn't an idiot, no matter how much I liked Jack - no, not like that! - and hesitantly placed a hand on the dragon's mane.
It paused in its little dance to lean into my touch. The action made me smile, knowing that this animal liked the attention I was giving it.
