The Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Gaza reports that 1.9 million people lack adequate shelter due to the war. This number is not just a statistic, but a daily story of pain for entire families living among the rubble, in fragile tents, or without any roof to protect them from heat, cold, and rain.

The developments surrounding President Trump’s upcoming Oval Office announcement take place in a moment of serious legal and political turbulence for his administration.
Two critical judicial setbacks hit almost simultaneously:
Trade Policy Blow – The federal appeals court ruling against Trump’s sweeping global tariffs represents not just a legal defeat but also a symbolic undermining of his signature “America First” trade agenda. Tariffs have been a cornerstone of Trump’s economic nationalism, aimed at reshaping global trade relations by executive fiat. If courts continue to restrict his ability to act unilaterally, it will limit one of his most potent political tools going into the campaign cycle—his ability to present himself as the sole negotiator defending American workers from unfair foreign competition.
Use of Federal Troops in Los Angeles – Judge Charles Breyer’s ruling that the administration’s deployment of federal troops in Los Angeles violated the Posse Comitatus Act is arguably more explosive. The judiciary’s explicit warning that the president is, in effect, attempting to build a “national police force” under his direct command cuts to the core of American constitutional tradition—separation of civilian law enforcement and the military. This narrative plays directly into long-standing fears of executive overreach and authoritarian drift.
Politically, Trump now faces dual vulnerabilities:
On the economic front, critics can argue that his signature tariffs were reckless, unlawful, and harmful to America’s global credibility.
On the domestic front, the image of federal troops patrolling U.S. cities under direct presidential orders evokes the specter of militarized governance—deeply alarming for moderates and energizing for civil libertarians.
The White House’s decision to schedule an Oval Office address indicates a likely attempt at damage control—Trump may try to reframe these judicial rebukes as partisan attacks or as obstacles placed by an unelected judiciary against the will of the people. Expect him to lean heavily on themes of law and order, sovereignty, and presidential authority.
The stakes are high: these rulings don’t just constrain Trump’s policies; they challenge the very narrative of strongman leadership that underpins his political brand. If he cannot wield tariffs freely or use troops to project power domestically, his ability to present himself as a decisive, unconstrained leader is undermined.
In short, this is a moment of constitutional confrontation: Trump’s expansive vision of presidential power is colliding with judicial checks. The question now is whether the courts will stand firm under political pressure—or whether Trump will succeed in reframing these defeats as fuel for his populist message. _____
HELP SAVE THE INTERNET!
Hey guys, normally I wouldn't be posting about something so serious, but I have to share this and spread the word. US Congress is trying to pass bills that would end Section 230. If you don't know what Section 230 does, it essentially allows for free expression of the people on the internet. If you would like to not let our freedoms be taken away, here are two resources I found that can help.
This YouTube short by Ashur Gharavi, who explains this whole situation a lot better than I have: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/9ynP_0cQzo4
BadInternetBills.com, a website which specifically helps people spread awareness about this kind of thing and helps others contact their government representatives: https://www.badinternetbills.com/
Again, sorry to bring the mood down, but this is serious and puts our freedom of expression on the internet at severe risk. Thanks for reading, and have a good day/night.

TURPAL AND MISHA CHILDREN ART
I've already discussed in my posts that Turpal and Misha represent peoples with complex relationships. And frankly, it's interesting to show all of this through these characters. But their point is that all peoples should begin to live peacefully in our time and learn to respect each other. Both of these peoples suffered from each other, especially from senseless wars. I don't know whether the annexation of the Caucasus to the Russian Empire in is worth considering, as some goals regarding the South Caucasus, for example, were involved. Russia was, of course, separated from it by the Northern Caucasus. It's also important to note that there was much senseless violence during the annexation of the Caucasus, which in my opinion is already a tragedy.
By the way, about other wars, I don’t like to raise the topic of the Chechen war, since it is very complex and it is difficult to form an opinion on it, but nevertheless I support the principles of international law, which I spoke about in my TGC, therefore, for me Chechnya is Russia, just as Abkhazia is Georgia.
At the same time, don't forget that my views are pacifist, and I believe that every nation should learn to live in peace, but this will of course take a lot of time, especially given what is happening in the world now.
