He loves it.

I knew he would enjoy it, but I get frustrated because he can not seem to keep everyone straight. I get it. There are a lot of people, and a lot of similar names. But it's hard for me to be patient with him when we just finished season 2 and he still has no idea what's going on half the time so I have to fill him in.

Good lord! I don't recall getting that confused or lost on my first watch. And he doesn't sit and goof on his phone at all while we're watching, so he's not distracted.

It's like, ARE YOU WATCHING THE SHOW, OR SLEEPING WITH YOUR EYES OPEN?!

*sigh*

Has anyone else experienced this with a first-time viewer of TLK?

I will say, he's an excellent judge of character, and called the Aethelflaed x Erik storyline happening immediately, as well as immediately hating Aethelred, and calling him and Aldhelm, "the ambiguously gay duo."

This was the scene that did it. "Look at them - they're eye fucking each other!"
