racist AND transphobic. actual CaucASIANS, Chinese people and trans people of color (in general) need to be allowed to throw hands at white people daily

just in case you never heard, when white USAmericans stole Caucasian identity for themselves they didn't include actual Caucasians in their stolen and appropriated "racial" category of Caucasian. Armenians were racially profiled, everyone whose last name ended with "-yan/ian" were racially targeted which included Svans (my friend's family). Margali people whose last name ends with "-ava" were sometimes written down as "-awa" and white USAmericans assumed my Margali friend was Japanese or something and she was considered "other race" on many documents just cuz of her looks. and when I interacted with white USAmericans on video call (because of my job) and I said that I'm Caucasian they laughed at me and told me that I'm not Caucasian. but the problem is that East Asia also uses term Caucasian for wrong people and I got in a fight with a Chinese person who kept telling me that I'm not Caucasian and Caucasian people are blonde, blue eyed, white Europeans who colonize and steal everything. I've seen posts from them talking about Caucasian phenotypes but none of them are actually Caucasian but European. they don't even mention Caucasus 99% of the times, but when they do they assume we look Scandinavian. I had to yell at some of them in Mandarin for not listening and mocking me when I said that I was Caucasian.

Also, the people claiming this were mostly Turkish. I know a bit of the history of the two, so does it have something to do with that, or is it just like the “Bulgarian people are Asian” thing?

there are Armenians who don't consider themselves Caucasians and it's mainly because Caucasian people themselves are often against each other. northern Armenians are more likely to be considered Caucasian than those who live in southern parts of Armenia, but generally Armenia is Anatolian-Caucasian. they're culturally and genetically similar to other Caucasians, but also a bit distant from us. I'd say that they're Anatolian-Caucasian. they can definitely identify as Caucasian and there are many of us who accept them as one due to our cultural and other regional similarities. but if they'd like to call themselves Anatolian instead it's up to them. none of these are wrong. they can be both.

I'm going to experiment with Georgian (Kartvelian) alphabet calligraphy. I love this language not because it’s my native tongue, but for its phonetic particularities and complex syntactic systems.
