UnderTale - Reader gets to beta test a game called (idea for later) and it's a game where you're one of the character's spouse and you help them around the house. (It's mean as a game that encourages you to do chores and such). The only available characters are Sans and Papyrus so Reader tries to pick one but it glitches out and the game crashes. When Reader opens the exe file back up, their file says they chose both. Intrigued, they open the game file. They get met with both characters interacting with each other. A secret option? Reader continues to test the game for a few days and... All of a sudden they find themselves IN the game. Unable to return to reality. Just according to Sans and Papyrus's intentions.

UnderTale - As a child, Reader lives in a cottage near the forest, outside of the village outskirts with their mother. One day, Reader is playing outside the forest lines, only to hear sobs. They go to investigate only to find a carcass of an animal. They go in for a closer look out of curiosity. Reader itenditfies the carcass as a fox. They think it's completely dead until lights appear inside their eye sockets. Silence between the two until the fox speaks "Y-you Are H-human" they say, a shake in their voice as they did. Confusion ensues and Reader brings fox skeleton to mother who panicks and tells Reader to "put down the yokai this instant" Reader realizes this skeletal fox is a feared desdedant of the trickster god. A kitsune. Highly dangerous. But if danger, why friend shaped Eventually, Sans shows up, spends time until papyrus gains his second fox tail and returns to the land of yokai. (Papyrus rises in the ranks of yokai but never forgets Reader)

Inspiration: Silent hill F, Japanese folk lore

Underswap - Reader is a scientist (biology?) on a spaceship. They emergency land on an inhabited planet. Or so they thought. They somehow managed to catch an alien life form made of bones they dubbed as simply "Blue". Reader is the one who oversees the creature unwillingly. Reader is cautious, they know "Blue" isn't as weak as it makes itself out to be. Reader's co-worker's aren't being as cautious nor "friendly" as reader. "Blue" pretends to be fully captured and secretly roams around the spaceship during night. Gains an interest in Reader. Reader is not very happy about that when he makes it known.

Inspiration: Predator/Alien isolation.

UnderSwap -  Reader where they can see ghosts due to an incident with their eye. Reader's friends go ghost hunting in this fancy house they rented, said to be haunted by the previous murdered owners. Reader tries to hide the fact they can see the ghosts but suspicions falls on them when a blue ghost is frustrated at some cups not being back in the cupboard. Reader silently puts them back. An orange ghost might have seen the curious human over-hearing his dismayed brother. (Yandere? Back to my old roots)

UnderSwap - Reader works at an aquarium (they clean the tanks and such), suddenly the aquarium takes in two injured  Monster merfolk, a beluga whale and a nurse shark (thought to be a lemon shark at first) (retcon, they just have beautiful fins and tails? No need to complicate things lmao) and they happen to be skeletal. Merfolk were different than sirens, their voices were always shrill instead of a beautiful velvet trill sirens used to lure humans to their doom with. Humans knew merfolk and sirens were different from eachother, sirens were... Ruthless and toyed with humans while merfolk were peaceful and stayed away from sirens and humans alike. A few fishermen fished up the merfolk and they had been unconscious, making them end up into the aquarium for rest and healing before they got released back into nature. The skeleton mermen got a bit too curious about their resident window cleaner (Reader scuba dives and cleans the tanks) that came in and went out occasionally. Without as much as a hello. Or goodbye.

UnderSwap - Reader is an "evil" mage/wizard who kidnaps the kingdom's crown prince; Blue/Azure(?), for some reason I haven't thought of. They bond within Reader's tower of magic and Reader gets to know Blue is bethroed (omg how you spell that shit) to another country's royal noble. For political power. Blue doesn't agree with this marriage of convenience but as the crown prince, he has to uphold his duties. Reader tells him they can "curse" him, so he won't be able to marry unless it's his one true love or there will be consequences (Death of the partner he marries) and all that jazz. It's all a fluke of course but the kingdom won't know that. Reader makes up an elaborate story about how Blue tricked them and managed to escape but not before getting "cursed". Back home within castle walls, Blue misses the tower but mostly Reader themselves. Papyrus taking notes of his brother's odd melancholic behaviour. The king (Gaster?) and queen furious at Reader for kidnapping and cursing their "golden" child.

UnderFell - (Takes place in the medival times, somewhere around there) Reader is half human, half golden siren. Their skin hides the gold underneath. They live amongst humans undiscovered. Until Reader and their fellow knights come into contact with two skeletons in the woods, covered in gold and gems, mostly red. The pair of skeletons lure the knights to their doom by dancing graciously through the water (Reader saves the knights? Maybe? Blown cover?) however, Reader themselves is not affected by their charming water dance. One of the skeletons does not give up (Papyrus) and tried to lure Reader even harder... Only for reader to shriek in an inhuman manner, causing the water to ripple. Both skeletons immensely confused. What happens next? Who knows.

Inspiration: Jibaro from love, death and robots

UnderFell - Reader works at an aviary who recently got an addition to their inclosure, a tall bird monster named black due to their pitch black feathers with red tips. (red comes in later) Black is a menace to staff, including Reader. One day, Reader doesn't take shit and takes down black with physical force... stealing Black's breath away literally and figuratively. After that Black tries to woo reader by displaying a courting dance, much to everyone's confusion and to readers discomfort. After that, the aviary has gotten yet another bird monster aptly named Red due to their crimson red feathers with black accents... The staff thinking this will persuade Black to stop courting a human and start to court the other bird Monster... Not knowing they're literally brothers. (Yikes, talk about wanting brotherly love). Red doesn't like reader at first but after an African grey parrot went missing inside the Black and Red's cage, Reader has to recapture it by singing. Red's mind slowly starting to change. (Red is a songbird while Black is a dancebird? Different courting methods) (Management thinks black is a female bird due to his higher pitched sounds and feminine build) (Black is just lanky, sleek feathers) (Red is a phat borb, fluffy feathers)

UnderFell - Reader is good at coding software/hacking and modding hardware. Is on the run due to messing with the wrong crowd. Finds a discount on a broken android called P-4-p-y-r-u-5. (Shady place) It's an old model second made of the first batches of androids ever made. Reader cleans it off and fixes it up to an operational state... Turns out this particular android had quite the personality. Shenanigans ensue. They grow closer and all of a sudden, Reader stumbles upon an abandoned android called S-4-n-5, the oldest model of android. The first to be ever made. Turns out it got modded way beyond what it was supposed to do and now has trauma from it (Not so innocent companionship? Murder? Both?). All of them grows close until Reader's location gets leaked and they have to run away once more, leaving both of the androids in someone's else care...  (Fast forward) In the future, the androids have climbed up the ladder, gotten the highest form of upgrades and seeks out Reader. Once and for all. (This didn't age well with the AI stuff, lmao)

UnderFell - Reader's Friends summons a demon for fun, Reader is not into it. However, they end up successfully doing the ritual and up comes Papyrus from the summoning circle. He demands a contract to be made as he cannot simply just leave. Their Souls on the line. Somehow, the deal is that Papyrus have to be the "perfect" romantic partner to Reader and when he ultimately succeeds and makes Reader fall in love with him, he will take all of Reader's Friends Souls. All of the friends agree (Reader is terrible with anything romantic, they have no hope for them) and the contract is made. Papyrus believes this would be an easy and profitable venture but after months of careful planning, Reader doesn't seem to be affected by Papyrus's irresistible charm. Or wealth. (Reader knows what will happen if they fall prey to a demon who doesn't actually love them) (But Papyrus does in fact, fall face first into a crush, he just doesn't realise it at first) What a conundrum!

SwapFell - Reader is a witch interested in sciencetific research rather than just magic. During the day, Reader discovers an abandoned castle while being chased by witch hunters. Entering the castle they meet the owner, Delta, a Monster vampire. The vampire isn't thrilled by the sudden intrusion, especially by a human. A debate happens which ends in Reader agreeing to solve Delta's aversion to the sun in exchange for studying the extensive library. However, they are not allowed to leave until they have cured the vampire's sun allergy. (Papyrus present? Werewolf?)

Inspiration: Castlevania: nocturne, Dracula

HorrorTale - Reader manages to escape the hero party that was planning to sell them for coin due to their "lack" of ability. They escaped into the woods, meeting a hulking Monster skeleton with an axe.

Due to his skeleton nature, Reader faints thinking they've been discovered by one of their party members. (The hero party are mostly other AU skeletons? Don't know which) The hulking skeleton begrudgingly takes Reader to his cottage where he lives with his brother. They grow closer and live in harmony until the hero party and the demons comes knocking.

Turns out, the pair of skeleton brothers are high ranking demons in retirement. Skull is secretly the ex king of the demon realm while Bones is the king's brother and used to be the advisor.

Ability; reversal? (Injuries gets reversed, even death. Basically immunity from inflicted even fatal wounds, not immortal, can die by age or sickness (?))

UnderTale/UnderSwap/FellSwapGold - Reader plays an unusual otome game where the main love interests are skeletons Monsters; an oppressed race. Reader plays as the main character- the heroine, called (name) and tries to win over the skeletons hearts by maxing out their relationship status. There was many branching paths but Reader wanted the one where every skeleton loved them. The harem route. The hardest route to reach as it needed perfect choices to be made. However, you were determined and countless playing hours, you managed to get all of their relationship to max affinity and get the harem ending. You've gotten all endings, found every secret lore about the skeletons and now? Well, you would move onto your new fixation. Until the day you beat the game in its entirety, you get transported into the world of the otome game. But not as the loveable heroine but the bratty villain who always got in the heroine's way. And what happens to the villain in all of the routes? Death. Yep. All routes lead to doom. How could you possibly salvage this?

UnderFell/SwapFellRed/HorrorTale/UnderTale - Reader jumps through timelines, possessing the bodies of the child with the most DT as UT Snas and pap helps the reader through the timeline as holograms. The timeline's skeletons gets suspicious of what's going on and eventually seeks Reader out. (Basically quantum leap but different) (different endings for every AU?) (Only Soul can travel until the endings diverge)

Reader used to just be the janitor until they took an accidental plunge into another AU and became the official AU jumper.

SwapFell/UnderFell/UnderSwap - Reader is a thief and working with modern crime mobsters. UnderFell is mobsters, SwapFell is part of the crime ring but neutral ground (owns a night club) and UnderSwap are cops trying to capture reader. (Different ending for each pair?)

Reader is childhood friends with the Undefell skeletons, however, they hold Reader's mother (muffet, adopted) debt over Reader's head. Reader is friends with the SwapFell brothers, which the UnderFell's don't like but can't dictate Reader's friendship due to Swapfell's being neutral ground. UnderSwap is a detective, always trying to capture Reader whenever they do a heist but haven't been able to catch them. (Reader of course flirts with UnderSwap Sans in a teasing manner during these heists)

Both UnderSwap and SwapFell Papyrus's knows how to hack. They're computer nerds. SwapFell Papyrus taught Reader how to hack when becoming friends. While Reader taught SwapFell Papyrus how to ride a motorbike. (For a quick getaway)
