✨New week, new magical pages ✨ 📣IT'S THE FIRST WEEK OF OCTOBER! Can you believe it? I can't believe is October already. I love Autumn and Winter the most! Mostly because I love the flavors associated with it. I have an addiction to cinnamon, and it's cinnamon season!!!!! I have a bit of a busy week this week. Another vet visit, a couple of meetings, endnof month and start of month admin tasks, and continuing a project that I have been working on (very few people know what it is. You'll know when it's complete😉). I wanted to celebrate Fall with some Autumnal colors, but I was also inspired by the D.A. sticker. It's one of my favorite quotes. ✨New week, new magical pages ✨ This week was SO fun to decorate! It's a big week! Sunday was my 18 year Anniversary with a man I love more than words can say. We pushed back our celebrations to this coming weekend because we were able to get a killer deal at our favorite resort, allowing us to stay two nights, instead of one. I also have Calico Jack Rackham's (hopefully) final vet visit for all of his kitten stuff this week, and a closing for a very deserving buyer, AND a new buyer consultation! It's a short, but busy week for me! I love weeks like this. I love having a full schedule. It just goes to show you what I've said all along... When you don't focus on Real Estate, Real Estate happens! It never fails. As soon as I plan even a day off, BOOM! And I'm okay with that. I love being busy! I hope you all have a very magical week! ✨New week, new magical pages ✨ I can't believe August is already coming to an end! For the final week of the month, I went with a very clean and simple design, with a small reminder to hustle through, and reminder from Maya Angelou that all great achievements require time. It's so easy when you are your own boss to feel like you are putting in too much time. Sometimes, you have to call a board meeting with yourself, and ask if all the hours you are putting in are being used efficiently. There is a difference between business and busy. Once filled in, my planner becomes a color coordinated to-do list. Or, as I like to call them, Ta-Da lists. I make sure I have the most important things done first (unless it's scheduled at a certain time), and fill my time with everything else. Time management is something I do pride myself in. I've been a planner my whole life, so it's second nature to me. If you are having trouble planning your day, try this trick... three colors to start. Red is a MUST DO. Blue is next in priority. And then any other color you chose for your "doesn't need to be done, but would be nice". Once you have that system down, add more colors. For example: Red is still my MUST do color, blue is my education color, green is my income producing activity color, Orange is my non-work related color, and so on. I honestly have about twelve different colors going. Different shades for different priorities within a task. If you are new to planning, or just in a slump, let me knownif this helped you.
