Enter Misfits. Compilations tend to be a shameless money grab (with the exception of “Mania” and “Collection 1 & 2”) because they normally take the most commercially viable tracks and exploit them even more. “Misfits” is different because it accurately shows the progression of a band destined for great things. They also released different versions of a few tracks. I like this “Where Eagles Dare” from the “Who Killed Marilyn” 12” the best. I took this picture before seeing Misfits in Newark last year. Sure was an experience.
