These Mini Thai Pork Pitas are a tasty mix of Thai flavors and small pitas that are easy to eat. It's great for parties or as a quick and tasty snack.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground pork. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 2 teaspoons grated ginger. 1 tablespoon soy sauce. 1 tablespoon fish sauce. 1 tablespoon brown sugar. 1 teaspoon sriracha. 1/2 cup shredded carrots. 1/4 cup chopped cilantro. 1/4 cup chopped green onions. Mini pitas, for serving.
Instructions: Over medium-low heat, break up the ground pork with a spoon and cook it in the pan until it's browned and done. This should take about 5 to 7 minutes. To the pan, add the grated ginger and minced garlic. Cook for another minute or two, until the smell is nice. Add the brown sugar, sriracha, soy sauce, and fish sauce and mix them in. Keep cooking for two to three minutes more, until the sauce gets a little thicker. Add the chopped green onions, cilantro, and shredded carrots to the pan after taking it off the heat. Put the Thai pork mixture into mini pitas and serve right away.
