I hope anti don't use this as a way to bring ozpin in to the RG ship again it feels like the only argument they have and now is this part right here feel like is fanning them flames again, 😩

I don't think the writers intended that this would probably be used against people who ship Oscar and Ruby cuz I know they have to know about it especially considering miles himself wrote this episode😐

it's like when we finally get a break from being harassed by anti RG ships something with another ship or in the show brings the worst out in the RG anti

And the anti don't do this to any other ship ,and it's like I've been saying since the beginning if Oscar had been a character from the earlier volumes nobody will be complaining about him even if he is Oz's next like-minded soul like if eyes had reincarnated into John or even any other character that people ship Ruby with people wouldn't complain they would be sitting there making

theories just like me and other Oscar fans trying to figure out if there was a way to delay the merge or stop it completely like especially if they were about to lose John's personality Romans wises are even pennies cuz I've seen a few people say ozpin should have reincarnated into Penny to not only show she had a soul as a real girl but because of the line she said she was made to help save the world and I seen a few people say it would have been cool if I spent her instead of Oscar

The merge is an issue but it's not an issue when it comes to the ship because we all saw in the Lost Fable where Oz can lived with one of his like-minded souls the one who made the long

1. Renora because come on guys they are confirmed canon and they have been with us since the beginning and it’s hella cute.

2. SunnyBees because I love bumblebee but I also really love BlackSun so I love the ship idea of all three of them being in a happy polyamorous relationship.

3. Fairgame because it looks genuinely sweet and I love the idea that Qrow is slowly becoming a better person and knowing his place. Like how he stopped drinking and got embarrassed over that when talking about it. I see Qrow as bisexual and I’m totally happy about that, as should be the fandom. We need more bisexuality representation especially in males. And what better way to do that than in one of rwby main characters.

4. SummerQrow - i know ts a dead ship and I know it’ll never be canon like ever but I read a really good fanfic about it and I love the headcanon fhat Qrow is Ruby’s father. I KNOW HE ISNT that’s why it’s a headcanon people.

5. RoseGarden because I love my farm boi son being happy and i]ruby is so cute with him. And I love how it’s very fluffy, pure and innocent because tbh I don’t like reading smut personally. I just love the purity of this ship it’s so sweet. It makes me happy.

Okay, first off the old ones.

Basically an older Ruby and Oscar design (you can see I wasn’t too inspired with Oscar when I made this, I just wanted to draw them older). Idk if you can see it in the picture but he has a scar on his right eye and his hair is white with brown tips (the hair thing is explained in the next one)

Next is the angsty, half-inked drawing. This is the moment when Oscar fully merges with Oz, my headcanon for this moment was that his hair would turn white, but leave the tips in the original color (like Ozpin’s). I didn’t know (and still don’t) how the merge thing worked, but I thougth it’d be cool to have his hair as an indicator of the process.

Rosegarden Week Day 1 — Knowledge

Thunder rumbled in the distance as the lone hunter made his way back towards the town. With a sigh, he pulled his red hood over his head. Moments later, it was pouring rain.

He trudged his way back to the inn, almost too exhausted to even push the door open.

“You got back just in time,” the friendly innkeeper commented.

He offered a weary smile before heading straight to the stairs.

“Would you like me to bring you anything later? Some tea?”

While the offer was tempting, he raised his hand slightly and shook his head to decline.

Only when he entered his room did he allow himself to relax. It had been at least two months since he had taken residence at the inn, and returning to it almost felt like returning home. Granted, he hadn’t spent more than a week or two in a single place ever since he left the farm.

He removed his red cloak and hung it up near the door before collapsing on the bed.

When he finally opened his eyes, his vision was blurry from tears. He sat up and wiped his eyes, not bothering to wonder if the tears were simply from exhaustion at this point.

As he bent over to unlace and kick off his boots, his eyes began to wander over to chest he kept beneath the bedside table.

Too tired to argue with himself over it, he pulled it out and opened it.

Oscar raised the lamp and stared at it for a long while. The faint glowing stung his tired eyes, but he kept his gaze on it while contemplating his options. Finally, he whispered, “Jinn.”

The sudden silence made Oscar’s stomach drop. The voices and chatter he normally tuned out silented. The rain outside halted midair, the drops delicately floating all around. The fire in the fireplace ceased to flicker and crackle. The glowing of the lamp grew brighter, blue smoke filling the entire room, and the magical djinn materialized before his eyes.

“Hello, Oz.” She flashed a smug smile and propped her cheek up in her hand. “You know, you’ve already used all the questions for this century.”

“I know,” he sighed, hanging his head. The last question was a foolish waste, and he had chastised himself over it for months now. “I was… I was hoping you would take pity on me.”

“And why should I do that?”

“I’m asking as Oscar, not as Oz.”

She raised an eyebrow. “What is your question, and I will decide if I want to answer.”

“Where is Ruby?” The tears he had been holding back came spilling out from speaking her name.

“You know where she is. You watched as they buried her.”

“In an empty coffin, just like Summer.”

Jinn tilted her head and smirked. “Just because you couldn’t find a body doesn’t mean she’s alive.”

Oscar clenched his fists. “Jinn, please! She is alive, I know she is! Please, I can’t find her… Not without your help. Please, please help me.”

She couldn’t help feeling pity for the boy. The green in his irises was brighter than ever in contrast to his teary red eyes. The last time she had seen the boy in this state was when Ruby Rose herself had asked for the secrets Oz was hiding.

“Very well.”

His eyes widened. He immediately stopped his pleading, as if afraid another word would cause Jinn to change her mind.

“You do understand, I can only give you clues. This isn’t to be difficult, this is me following the rules set by the gods.”

He nodded. His heart began to flutter with hope.

“Your rose is trapped in a garden…”
