Willy Pogány (1882-1955), “Tales of the Persian Genii” by Frances Jenkins Olcott, 1919
A quick drawing today of my water genasi's mother from a Dark Sun game with Shun💙💙💙 ~Beann
Obi-Wan's love of the high ground does not originate from his battle with Maul where he almost died having to try to win from the point of disadvantage.
It's actually because Qui-Gon had built in high ground and training in ataru flips over Qui-Gon he needed a box. He saw the key to fighting is being taller than the tallest combatant.
Anakin never learned his lesson on the high ground because he also has built in high ground so he underestimates the advantages of a gradual incline.
Also explains why Vader is even taller.

Jinn: It seems people have become more impudent since my last awakening.
Jaune: (Shark!Faunus, Mouthful of Jinn) 'm shrry!
Fun Fact! It is considered unsafe to swim in the ocean while wearing jewelry. Sharks and other predators are attracted by glint and shine, which is a trait shared with various species of fish, the primary food source of sharks.
It's heartbreaking to see Jinn thinks he is not worth it. I can't wait for him to realize this is not true. I don't think it's only come from how he perceives J's actions towards him.
I believe it also steamed from the fact his father never recognized him. It was last week's episode where we learned that his father was a famous actor, but no one knows Jinn is his son. Even if Jinn pretends he doesn't care... It seems like it's another person who doesn't want him and it must hurt.
Paired this with the impossible and complicated love he has for J who rejected him too in the past and you can see how vulnerable Jinn feels and how he wishes he was chosen.
He has so much love to give. You can see it in the way he acts around the one person who always chose him, his mother. He always acts in a very loving way with her. He is also a very loyal friend. Van is a playboy and always ends up in complicated situations and even if Jinn told him he shouldn't be this way, when Van needs someone he knows he can turn to Jinn who will always be there for him.
Jinn does everything for those who chose him because they make him feel like he matters, like he is important.
