Your post about Bramble and Squirrel and her flinching is sooooo good bc of the layers.
Bramble, despite never wanting to be like Tigerstar, is obsessed with his father. I like to think it's because he has a victim complex that was fed into by a lot of cats ( unknowingly fed into ), but being a victim of Tigerstar himself though being his son and looking like him has made " being Tigerstar's son and looking like him " his cope for anything. Got something bad to say about Bramblestar? Clearly your still comparing him to Tigerstar! Try to talk to him about his clearly evil half brother? IM NOT LIKE TIGERSTAR, I CANT BELIEVE YOU!
I want so badly for an artist rendition of Bramble's face when Squirrelflight says what she says in your post, that no Bramblestar, people don't flinch away from brown tabbies or you because of Tigerstar, they do it because their flinching away from you because of you. Tigerstar is gone, there aren't many cats alive who remember Tigerstar or who have even seen him.
The only brown tabby cats still fear is you Bramblestar, and half of those cats are cats you claim to love.
I used my grubby artist hands to bring it to life because actually this is important to me. Not one of these other cats in this comic was alive when Tigerstar the first was alive, just Bramblestar himself.
Pinenose! She was an apprentice in Omen of the Stars, and Violetshine's foster mother in A Vision of Shadows. As a young cat she doesn't have much of a personality, or presence on the page beyond being on patrols. Her mentor is Ratscar. She is named a warrior in the Forgotten Warrior, and despite still being listed as just a warrior in the allegiances of the Last Hope, is referred to as a queen crying over a lifeless weaselkit in the final battle. In a Vision of Shadows she has a new litter, and is mom to Puddleshine, Lioneye, Birchbark, and Slatefur. She is concerned when her kit becomes the medicine cat apprentice when Littlecloud becomes terminally ill and Leafpool steps in to tutuor Puddlekit in his place, protesting when Leafpool has puddlekit help her with Grassheart's kitting. Her characterization pretty much becomes stepmom only, through Violetpaw's perspective, who notices all the colder ways Pinenose treats her over Lilyheart (who was also a foster mom she only knew for a couple days ironically). If I had to pick her voice performance I would pick Mei from ATLA. She becomes part of the Kin when Darktail takes over, and dies in a boarder battle with Riverclan before they are taken over.

Mayyyyyyy I request Pinenose? I feel like she wasn't the best mother to Violetshine but she was so loyal to her kits and Grassheart. She also plays in the hockey game that ends up with Flametail drowning

Violetshine's kind of shitty foster mom. That scene where she's sick with yellowcough and asks for all her kits but not Violetpaw made me so sad and it's stuck in my mind all these years :(
And like she didn't neglect her physically but emotionally she def did. I'm pretty sure her mate was never mentioned to be a father figure for Violetkit so I guess at least she's better than him 😭😭
I like Kate Carey's interpretation that she held no ill will towards Violetshine but felt like she didn't belong in ShadowClan.
Canonically she dies in AVoS but reviewing my notes she's apparently still alive in my rewrite. I don't remember if I kept her alive on purpose but I don't feel like changing it so 🤷♀️
Also because of family tree stuff her birth has been pushed forward and so she's no longer the mother of the kit who dies in the Dark Forest battle
