These situations are very similar yet also different on specifically why the characters are so angry apart from being lied to. They both have the same problem which is character a is upset character b lied about the true parentage of children they felt emotional connected to as well as believed to be related to. for one situation the general consensus has been that brambleclaw was in the wrong to be upset because given the actual morals and ethics of the situation leafpool and squirrelflight made the correct choice to protect vulnerable individuals from prejudice from a belligerent society. this is where my confusion lays because frecklewish’s response is so much more violent and her rhetoric shows how much she believes in the idea of “blood purity” so it makes me confused as to why anyone really tried to paint her as a victim and i don’t really care that she was grieving and was lied to anytime a character chooses to lie about her halfclan children they are always morally correct in doing so
