Pineapple Guava or Feijoa is flowering well(Feijoa sellowiana) is not a true guava. It is native to the highlands of southern Brazil, eastern Paraguay, Uruguay, northern Argentina, and Colombia. It is widely cultivated as an ornamental tree and for its fruit. Common names include feijoa, pineapple guava and guavasteen. Iβm about to start my yearly battle with Queensland Fruit Fly to see who gets to eat the fruit. I bought this one as a small tree so canβt say much about propagation. Not many pests except the fruit fly and it survives quite well on rain fall. Really nice tasting fruit with a similar texture to true guava but a beautiful tropical taste. #feijoa #PineappleGuava #flower #abcmygarden #waterwise #hedge #bush #brazil #paraguay #uruguay #argentina #colombia (at Belmont, New South Wales, Australia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CkFlcOgPlRm/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
