Alright! Let's start with this first one. I have this idea today (August 14) so the first one on this thread will be Paraguay, celebrating his flag day!
About this country
Paraguay's flag is unique of it's kind because it has two sides, the front have a the yellow five-pointed star surrounded by a palm branch to the left and an olive branch to the right both tied together. While the back seal have a golden lion with the National Motto: "Peace and Justice".
Paraguay is also the only country in the entire Americas that have an indigenous language as an official mother language (alongside with spanish), and it's people is still very in touch with their culture.
Why I choose Epel to represent this country?
The duality of the flag represent perfectly Epel as a character. With a front side looking beautiful and glorious, but hiding behind that face lies a lion who roar for justice and freedom. Epel represent a perfect balance to carry this flag, despite being small with delicate features he doesn't let that stopping him to fight with titans (quite literally). Holds dear his roots but adapted quickly to his surroundings, he knows where he came from and knows where he's going, and nothing will stop him. That brave unshakable spirit and perseverance is very fitting for Paraguay🇵🇾🍎
