This moment is 4 years in the making! I planted a few Feijioa seeds 4 years ago. I got the seeds from a Pineapple Guava from a tasting session with @permacultureacademy. Now 4.5 years later, this one Feijioa plant is almost 8 feet tall and is flowering for the first time in its life!!! I am doing what I can to make sure these little buds turn into the delicious fruit I have been patiently waiting for. The fruit look like little guavas. When you cut them open, they are bright yellow inside and taste like pineapple. This gorgeous plant lives on our balcony, towering over all of our other little trees and plants.
