Old Charleston Jail, which was operational from 1802 until 1939, housed Charleston's most infamous criminals and, during the Civil War, Federal prisoners of war. The Old Jail housed a great variety of inmates. John and Lavinia Fisher, and other members of their gang, convicted of robbery and murder in the Charleston Neck region were imprisoned here in 1819 to 1820. Some of the last 19th-century high-sea pirates were jailed here in 1822 while they awaited hanging. This is the site of many paranormal investigations and has been featured on Ghost Adventures.

To add another perspective to their investigation, Phil Summers talks to us about his own investigation at the jail. Phil is an unorthodox ghost-hunter, and his story was featured on A&E’s My Ghost Story. He tells us about a deceased witch who cursed his life. Closing the show, Doctor Noir, Lou Boxer tells us about a major Philadelphia noir event, Noir at the Bar, the Final Reading at the soon-to-be-demolished Society Hill Playhouse. T. Fox Dunham with several great authors will be reading there at March 19th starting at 6:45.

Scientists originally killed off the Brontosaurus 100 years ago, classing it as part of the Apatosaurus family. But now in 2015 new evidence has brought it back from the dead (well sort of). So to celebrate we’ve created this tee.

Uno de los cambios más importantes en este festival que suma más de 60 años de existencia es el aumento del número de mercadólogos involucrados. Más de 3,000 profesionales de marketing estuvieron presentes en la edición del año pasado, número que se espera suba de manera importante en el 2015, un cambio toral con respecto a los orígenes del festival en los que asistían publicistas principalmente.

Es por eso que la creatividad se vuelto un elemento importante en la estrategia de negocios de las empresas, con ella se logra un aumento de hasta del 54 por ciento en el retorno de inversión, por lo menos así sucedió en el caso de McDonalds. Las grandes marcas han entendido el poder de amplificación de invertir en contenido creativo. La creatividad ha probado ser un eje de beneficios de negocio comenta Thomas.

¿Qué es creatividad?

La creatividad es la expresión de uno mismo, pensamiento lateral combinado con pensamiento original. También representa la habilidad de pensar de manera distinta a lo que se conoce. La creatividad no es necesariamente una nueva idea, es conocimiento que se ha dejado detrás, dice Thomas.

Uno de los cambios más importantes en el trabajo enviado al Cannes Lions Festival es un aumento importante en términos de colaboración y analytics. Por ejemplo el ganador del Gran Prix el año pasado sumó trabajo internacional para obtener el resultado. Otro cambio importante es el uso de información o datos para lograr el efecto creativo en el consumidor. Según Thomas el mejor ejemplo es la campaña de Nivea que juntó datos de usuarios, creatividad y un medio reconocido. El sistema de pago por risa implementado en España es otro ejemplo destacado.

La implementación de tecnología en el marketing sin el uso de creatividad no tiene mayor valor para el consumidor. La creatividad genera ingresos, amplifica resultados de negocio. El costo de entrada en el mercado actual es el uso de tecnología, por lo menos desde el punto de vista creativo. En los últimos tres años el uso de datos para crear estrategias ha crecido de manera dramática, las ideas no son necesariamente complejas, pero la implementación y ejecución se ha sofisticado concluye Thomas.

Last night was probably one of my most favorite moments in my college career. By far.

Last night I went to the Alpha Sigma Tau Spring Formal. The theme was the twenties so, of course, I looked sexy as hell. As always. Then, the unforgettable happened. I was asked to go outside with my date, who is absolutely precious, and I was like "Cool, yeah, its hot. I want to have a cigarette anyway." (Mind you, I was putting a huge dent in a Strawberry Daiquiri bucket that I put a whole bottle of Captain Morgan in….nbd.) Then, I was asked to go back inside. And all of the lovely ladies of AST were surrounding me. Singing their Sweetheart song. I have never been so excited or surprised in my life. I have become a part of an organization I have been around for four years. AND to top it off, I was in my best friend/Phi Kappa Psi Sweetheart's tree. I received a beautiful shirt to add to my collection. 

So, this really isn't a "Misadventure." Just an adventure. The greatest adventure so far. 

So, as I previously attempted, I'm working on the poster for God of Carnage for University Players. After the image that you can't see because it's just a green box for some reason, I spoke with a professor about the design to include it in my portfolio. As soon as I can I'll post the different versions to show the process. But, they are done. In 4 different versions. I'm just waiting for the director to get to the lab to tell me which one she likes. After all, she has final say in the final product. So, I'm waiting. They are hanging up and everything. All she has to do is walk in, take a look, we can have a little conversation if she'd like about them, and then I can print one more on bigger paper that is closer to what she wants, and then we can go get them printed at Piper Press. 

And it's not like I can upload it to anywhere cause the file is HUGE. And that being said, I also made the invitations for my fraternity's 30 year formal celebration and I wanted to post it to the alumni group. Can't. Any way I try it, Facebook is like "Nope, sorry, don't feel like it." That makes me very angry.

And while all this is happening, I'm hungry. 

This was my film final from last semester. We had the option to do whatever we wanted, so I chose to do a mockumentary on Scout the Puppet. Some interesting facts about Scout are that he's five years old, was in some famous shows, likes to sing. 

Also, his voice was not done by anyone else. I did the voice. Unfiltered.
