I'M ONE-THIRD OF THE WAY DONE EDITING MY MANUSCRIPT!!!!!

Yes, I'm saluting myself because these aren't small edits; a comma here, a different adjective here.

It was rewriting chapters almost in their entirety, overhauling characterizations, adding dimension to pairings, introducing new subplots and narrative tension, trimming the fat and replacing it with meat.

It was hard, but it was worth it.

The second-third is spicier and, while I fully expect it to be more work, I'm looking to adding to the depth that's in the middle.
