Happy New Years, everybody!

1) I read a whole bunch of posts and clips about Cass having a big appetite and I thought it was super cute, so I combined the idea with my hc that Dan and Dani are also big eaters. This art was actually supposed to come with a short one-shot where Cass gets invited to eat with Dani and Dan after they notice her sitting alone.

2) This part is from the Regent Queen Jazz AU where she is recovering from Spectra's manipulations and was overthrown by Danny. In this scene specifically, Sam and Danny had a fight ab how he coddles Jazz, but in the end, Sam still goes to Jazz for comfort (bc she is the Big Sister 🫶)

3) Inspired by this post where I showcase Jazz's outfits and styles

4) I wanted to draw and practice hair, so I had a scene where Jazz was acting shy and hiding behind her hair... it escalated into that lmao

5) Pokémon AU but Sam has a Toedscruel and it is SO funny when I was researching bc it's such a goofy but creepy Pokémon

6) Part of the Demon Phantom Family AU where the Phantom family are demons lmao. This was originally intended to be a comic where they’re taking a selfie of sorts in demon form and then someone (probably Jason) pops their head in frame and is like ‘what are you doing?’ And they panic and turn back into human XD

7) A sequel of this post where the rest of the Batsiblings discover Jason's girlfriends, Jazz and Artemis. I actually don't know why I didn't post this one bc I love it lmaooo

I think drawing the Wonder Family was somehow therapeutic bc I genuinely feel cleansed after finishing them 💀

Extra notes:

+ In their Hero Fits, since Jazz couldn’t find herself a motorcycle-using, literature-loving, sweet-on-the-inside and cool-on-the-outside baddie (yet), she had to become one herself 😔 Her helmet is wolf-themed.

+ In their Career Fits, I really liked the post that talks about how Danny is kind of meant to be an artist amongst his scientific and mathematical family, and I really liked it (if I find it again, I’ll link it). Both Dan and Danny are inspired by that idea, but I believe that Danny would’ve been able to accomplish his dreams, while Dan would’ve found his calling in being an artist. However, it isn’t Dan’s only job and he takes on a whole bunch of side jobs that change everytime someone asks, so it always sounds fake lol

+ With the Summertime Fits, I genuinely lost years of life because men’s fashion is so boring.

+ In their Club Fits, the idea for both Dan and Danny was ‘slutty emo’, while Jazz and Dani’s was supposed to be a little more fun and casual (not sure if I really accomplished this).

+ With the Funeral Fits, Vlad purposefully faked his death to get money from insurance and tax fraud, but he also wanted attention from Maddie. After discovering this, the Phantom siblings crash his funeral >:)

Kept laughing to myself while making this bc I think Jazz would dress in the most try-hard, pretentious outfits ever. She serves everytime, but lmaooo

Extra notes:

+ With their Casual Castle fits, I wanted everyone but Jazz (and lowkey Dan) to have normal, casual outfits. I imagine that Jazz is extremely professional (and extra) so while she was Queen, she made everyone dress rather formally when out of their rooms. After Danny became King, he personally wore hoodies and t-shirts to rub it in the Observants’ faces.

+ With their Outing fits, they switch colors and disguise themselves to go out since they’re royals. The rest of the outfits are based on European-esque/fantasy/manhwa fashion, but in these outfits specifically, they’re directly referenced from 1940s American fashion.

+ In their Formal Party fits, you can see references of their mask wearing in this post of mine. The masks are meant to symbolize burial shrouds and their status as royalty or as gods. The animals chosen in order are: peregrine falcon, deer, wolf, and eel. I’m extremely happy with Jazz’s outfit and I think it’s one of my best.

+ In their Battle fits, the amount of armor they wear somewhat corresponds to their strength. Since Jazz is entirely human, she needs a lot of armor. Dan isn’t the strongest (Danny is, bc he’s the Ghost King), but he wears the least amount bc he isn’t allowed much (due to his status as dangerous) and bc he dgaf and believes in his strength.

+ With their Clockwork/Pandora Visiting fits, not much to say, other than that I referenced a lot of Greek statues and also EPIC the musical animatics when designing these XD

+ In their Last Year fits, this year can be explained in this post of mine. In order to minimize bloodshed, the Dannies wore their old hero outfits to hopefully snap Jazz out of her actions. It worked, and she surrendered to Danny soon after, resulting in him taking back the throne. Soon after, she recovered enough for Danny’s coronation and then left for a DC world. The one-shot is written here.

And now I do wonder if she has a Ghostly outfit for summons like people hc that Danny has his King regalia for summons 🫪

Idk why, but Jazz looks too big, even tho she's technically 6'10+ as a guy in my headcanons. Male!Jazz isn't even a twink, he's more like a tree 💀

On the other hand, m!Dani and f!Danny are cutie patooties while f!Dan looks like she's going to trick you into inviting her to your house after an expensive date before she steals your credit card and shoes.

This will probably be one of my last posts before I go dark for finals :3 please hold off on asks for the next 2 weeks! I’ll get started on MerMay when I get back!

The funniest part of all of this is that even tho I draw so many outfits and fashion, I have the wardrobe of an 11 year old boy.

+ The idea of this collection of photos was ‘what if each character got involved within their partner’s worlds?’ As such, each of them explore the Ghost Zone, Gotham, and Themyscira (which I believe is now combined with Bana-Mighdall, if you’re wondering why I didn’t mention Bana-Mighdall). Gotham technically has 3 outfits bc that’s where they’re all living now.

+ In the Ghost Zone, masks are usually worn as burial shrouds or burial masks. As royalty (and consorts to royalty), Jazz wears a wolf skull, while Jason wears a ram skull and Artemis wears a boar skull. You can also see the skull masks on the Phantom Family here.

+ In Themyscira, I combined a whole bunch of Greek, Egyptian, and Amazon DC fashion. Jason’s was surprisingly both the hardest and least hardest outfit to make bc I was very ??? when trying to figure out what men wore in Themyscira. I eventually landed on just armor, while both Artemis and Jazz wear dresses and other outfits.

+ In a Crime Gang, I imagine that this is what they wear when associating with Jason and his gang. Jason wears his usual attire, Jazz is his assistant, and Artemis is their bodyguard, but dressed in an outfit inspired by her mercenary clothes (which I fucking love). All three wear very dark and practical clothes.

+ In Disguise, this is a reference to this one-shot, where both Jazz and Artemis disguise themselves as Jason’s escort and bodyguard. Something something sexy women, I am obsessed.
