You should all know that I have Two(2) Headcanons for Cujo that I use interchangeably depending on what I need him for.

One:

Cujo is the Ghost of a once living dog. He lived a long time ago, back when dogs that didn't take to training were put down rather than being put to a different task. Cujo(though he had a different name at the time) was bred and bought to be trained into being a Gaurd Dog/Attack Dog, but he just had too sweet a personality that he didn't understand the attacking part. Because Cujo wouldn't do what he was trained for, he was thus put down, as were the times.

When Danny gave Cujo his name, and was more than happy with Cujo's love-bug, mischievous personality, Cujo becme very attached to him, and especially that name, and though Cujo doesn't stay with Danny 24/7, he does consider Danny his boy.

Tiny, baby puppy Cujo is the true Cujo, who he is down to his core, Massive, angry, agressive Cujo is who Cujo's original masters wanted him to be.

Cujo's "first language" isn't English which is why its hard to train him with it, Danny has an easier time using Ghost Speak or Dead Languages in order to properly train him since he doesn't know Cujo's "first language".

Two:

Cujo was never a living dog, rather hes a spiritual dog "breed" known as a Cù-sìth.

Hailing from Irish and Scottish Folklore the Cù-sìth is a green Mythical Fairy Hound. Cù-sìth are known to take both the souls of the living, as well as the souls of the dead, and are used by Fae Folk as watchdogs or pets.

Danny suffers with overpronation after his accident with the portal.

At first, it wasn't even a thing, but after the days of walking, running and ghost fighting, the arches of his feet collapsed under the pressure given his half dead status.

He had never been really athletic before, but now?, he couldn't stand straight for more than 20 minutes without feeling pain on his lower back.

It's not a big deal, he can handle it easily. But the pain is still there.

At least now he has an excuse to skip some P.E classes.

It's a reaction caused by their own emotional output, and the smell is determined by:

What emotion the ghost is feeling

The ghost's happiest memories tied to the emotion

For Example: when Danny is happy, he evokes the smell of wet grass (specifically when it's in the morning or late at night, when it's cooled down enough for precipitation to form), dirt, and laminated poster paper.

Sometimes the scent can change depending on the environment or setting that causes the emotion. If Danny is in a winter/snow setting, the wet grass smell changes accordingly.

If he's sad and hurt, he smells like playground asphalt and woodchips, and sometimes, just faintly, of oxidized metal.

When Ember's happy, she evokes the scent of oxidized guitar strings, but also guitar polish and sheet paper.

This ring allows the ghost king to claim their partner forever, is a eternal marriage ring.

DP Headcanon DARK

Ghosts are a semi-cannibalistic species.

Ghosts are a territorial, and warrior based species, so they fight a lot. Ghosts don't just go around randomly hunting, or eating eachother, but if territory disputes get too serious, or too violent its not uncommon for the victor to eat the loser in order to make sure another territory dispute with that ghost won't happen again.

You know how you have to cover the eyes of a dog or birds of prey for them to chill out sometimes? Sometimes the same thing has to be done to Danny.

[ Ex. Flash has a faster metabolism so he needs to eat more, since his heartbeat is faster, but Danny's becomes slower, so why does he need to eat like the Flash? geniune question, did I miss something.]

His Wail is his death scream

His ghost doesn't age

His human does but slows down at a certain age

Has no funtions in ghost form, he is dead as a ghost

Needs less amount of sleep, like 4-5 hours

No breathing or heartbeat in ghost form

When Danny is human, he feels uncomfortable speaking about his death but otherwise death doesn't affect him, but when he is Phantom that is a whole other story, at first as freshly made ghost he doesn't talk about it, but when time passes he talks freely.
