I’m might call it the “Ghost Romancers” au or something, I don’t know yet.
Anyways, it would be really funny due this au’s timeline that Maddie and Jack just over share their new crush fascination on Plasmius. They literally ask Vlad to help them bounce ideas on how they can spend more time with him and what they would do to him (which Vlad “definitely” doesn’t like the idea of, no sir).
It gets even better where the Fenton couple start thinking, “hey, those Phantom kids might be Plasmius offspring” which technically true for Dani. But definitely not for Dan and Danny. (Just let Dan be dragged into a happy ending because why not).
So just imagine the two boys in ghost form having to suffer their parents do the whole “hey, I really like your dad so we’re gonna spend time with you” romance trope.
(I would also like to imagine at one point that Vlad gets drunk, turns into Plasmius and flirts with Maddie and Jack because there only so long a lonely bachelor can hold out against them. The only reason he doesn’t go back to human form is because Danny, Dan, Dani, and Jazz rush him out.)
It then gets worst, Jack and Maddie also decide that they should include Vlad in their potential polycule. So now their bouncing date ideas with Plasmius who is awkwardly sitting though conversations that bring up how often he “kidnapped” Vlad Masters and how it’s okay that he finds the Fenton’s friend hot - they get it - but it’s not okay to kidnap people you find attractive.
A quick explanation of my AU Dani's names! She's Dani as a human and Ellie as a ghost. The reason for this is marketing! Vlad wanted her hero name to sound audibly different from Danny's, so the public knows who the mayor endorses and who the mayor condemns without having to specify.
From a design stand point I like the split names because that diagonal division between white and black on her top has always been symbolic to me....
