After many years or decades of living in hell together, Father Andrews and Begruvia settled into a routine of sorts. It would usually consist of waking up, getting dressed, bickering for the rest of the day, and sleeping. Today is one of those days.

Father Andrews wakes up in their shared bed, as the sun peaks through their singular window.

Some would find it weird to sleep in the same bed as your lifelong enemy, but it wasn't like he had a choice in the matter. He had no control over their living situation. That was all Begruvia. He was quite surprised to see it make an actual livable home for them both. A home that mimicked his home back on Earth. Begruvia could have easily made their house hell.

He could have just as easily made them separate beds.

He is still an enigma to Andrews. The way it thinks is so different and unique—it fascinates Andrews. The priest has accepted the fact that he can no longer try to decipher what's going on in that head of his, choosing to embrace the chaos instead. He does wonder, why the one bed? The most normal reason would be that Begruvia likes to sleep next to him, but that seems too simple for it. Not because the thought makes him blush.

Begruvia, currently, is cuddled up against him, blinking awake. He feels the inconsistent heatbeats on chest. He knows not to worry about that anymore. That's natural for phantoms. What he isn't so sure is natural is Begruvia's tendency to bite.

- WHICH BEGRUVIA IS TOO BTW!! He is just a dude who doesnt become evil or vindictive towards andrews until andrews et al start treating him like he’s this evil malevolent being instead of a dude who just wants to eat sausage rolls and live his LIFE

- in this au he can be andrew’s little brother or just a very close pupil to him either way it is very tragic when gruvi accidentally kills him

- and then julian’s mom as justine is FIRE bc she is the caretaker and then gets framed and hung when ANDREWS KNEW WHO KILLED JULIAN. AND SAID NOTHING. BECAUSE HE WAS AFRAID
