We have never once had a chief minister who cared about the state. S.M. Krishna did well for a while but he was quickly removed. There's literally not one single minister in karnataka who cares about anything beyond money and power. Karnataka politics is still stuck in the 70s era politics and I don't think we're getting out of it anytime soon. Think of karnataka politics as something just there floating in the air. It goes where the wind blows without a strong rooting of ethics and principle to hold it down. Karnataka is neither right wing nor left wing nor central. Our politics don't stand of anything

Point is that him singing the RSS song means nothing. It does not mean he's turning right wing. No politician here cares about being left or right. They're all there for the money. That strong distinction of left and right doesn't exist here.

Whether it is the Congress, BJP, or JDS, all of them have been more or less similar when it comes to corruption.

However, the outgoing Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah, has arguably caused the most damage to Karnataka through a combination of corruption and what many view as Muslim appeasement politics.

I really don't understand what kind of businesses the new Karnataka Chief Minister, D.K. Shivakumar, is involved in.

His declared net worth is around ₹1,000 crore.In reality, the people of Karnataka seem to have very little choice, as there is no credible alternative to these regional political leaders who are often accused of corruption...

And DK is nothing to do with the RSS....

However, he is extremely corrupt. He is mainly into quarry and real estate business. He is also a goonda and an extortionist. Greedy mofo who doesn't let go off any prime property once he lays his eyes on it.
