✚ Use lollipop throat soothers, plus fun popsicles, in order to help your sore throat if you have one!

✚ If you have something where the doctors need to monitor if you're bleeding from your throat, tummy, etc (like being post-tonsillitis surgery), then avoid red foods / drinks! I remember when I had my adenoids and tonsils taken out I wasn't allowed to eat or drink anything red, cuz the doctors wouldnt be able to tell if I was bleeding at the surgery site.

✚ Play with blocks, big legos, bead mazes, etc, like if you were in a hospital waiting room or long-term kids hospital playroom!

✚ You can also play video games!! I've heard of people donating gaming consoles to children's hospitals for kids that are living long-term in a hospital.

✚ Take a whoooole lot of naps if you can!! Gotta rest up in order to get pretend better hehe!

✚ I like to use vix vapor rub on my chest and stuff, as well as petroleum jelly under my nose. It reminds me of my grandparents and parents putting those on me as a kid to help when I was sicky.

✚ You can blow your nose a lot / rub your nose a lot with harsher toilet paper to give it that burny feeling from blowin your nose a lot while sick, as well as talk a lot / cough a lot as to make your throat hurt a bit!

✚ SUBLIMINALS SUBLIMINALS SUBLIMINALS Use hospital / sickness subliminals!!! I have successfully managed to be taken to the ER and hospitalized short-term multiple times using subliminals.

✚ Take baths using Epsom salts, kids bubble bath, etc, if you can!!

✚ If you can, then I recommend sleeping on the couch!! It reminds me of sleeping on the couch while sick / post-surgery s a kid so ur parents could monitor you.

✚ I like to kinda work myself up and cry about being stuck in a hospital and being permanently sick–it sounds weird but it helps me a good amount, personally :3
